This is the biggest waste of money. I bought a skip the queue Mona Lisa louvre tour. It was difficult to find the meeting point. The guide took us into the building and spent a 10 min telling us how he would get us around in an hour and a half and he advised when we got to Mona Lisa we went down the middle to get a photo. And if we wanted to leave the tour after that we could. We literally walked through the masses not seeing anything and were left to fend for ourselves at the Mona Lisa which is ridiculous. Soooo many people. When we exited the room the guide was no where to be seen. I think that was part of his plan to lose us at the Mona Lisa. We had already decided to leave the tour at that point t anyway as was impossible to keep up with the guide and see the displays. I think it is dishonest of this company to charge money for this tour.

We were given a very unclear description of meeting place . We were told to meet in front of the piramid . We did but it was actually on the other side of the circle. Would’ve been smart to let us know .
Luckily we found it but too late for our tour. We were able to join the next tour !

Gaining access to the Louvre was fairly simple but the guide seemed rushed, not very interested and took no interest in the people. His accent made it virtually impossible to understand what he was saying and he spoke very quickly as if in order to get the tour over as quickly as possible. I have done previous tours with other grandchildren which were engaging and interesting. Not this one. Neither I nor my 12 year old granddaughter found it of value. Not sure how to make sure you get a good guide. maybe a different tour company? He said the tour would be 2 hours but left us after 1 and a half hours which was probably just as well.

The guides microphone was not powerful enough. There was a lot of static and we couldn’t hear him clearly. Also, he was not very informative and wasn’t able to captivate his audience.

We were late by 10mins, so missed the tour but the company was nice to accommodate us in the next slot without any extra charge
