Not good. The tour operator was unresponsive to questions and it was hard to find the meeting spot. Then the tour operator refused to take us on the historical tour described and paid for. It was not a TOUR! We walked through a parking lot to a picnic table where we sat freezing. When the actual tour was starting we were told we could not participate because we hadn’t paid?? It was very weird and they were extremely rude and unprofessional. Viator did issue a full refund which I appreciate but I wouldn’t prebook this type of tour in the future. It spoiled some of the day and it definitely was a waste of time. We could have been walking around and enjoying the city on our own.

The first tour was fantastic but the second one was good. , the guide wasn't good, she didn't know how to give a tour and get hold the people instrest

Kat was fantastic- funny and knowledgeable! She had the perfect mix of ghost stories and true Salem
History. She was an absolute star, she even kept our teens entertained!

I took both the history and ghost tours and was very happy with both of them. The tours begin and end in a great location. Both guides were entertaining and knowledgeable and it was a fantastic experience both times.

We did the history and ghost tours. Both of our guides, Tom and Pam, were big on telling the actual history instead of the myth. Both tours were very enjoyable and informative. I know now, for my own sake, that walking around town all morning and doing an hour tour at 5 and a 1.5 hour tour at 8:30 in July was too much for my poor legs. Next time I will do sightseeing/shopping one day and touring another day. I do recommend this company, especially if you like history.
