Dunn's River Falls is one of Jamaica's national treasures. Globally, it is as well known as reggae and equally as stimulating. The Spaniards called the area "Las Chorreras", the waterfalls or springs and it is truly one of the most beautiful spots on the island. After climbing the Dunns river waterfall we will drive through the rain forest to the breath taking blue hole. You will be able to purchase lunch at the jerk center and the tour will end with local shopping in Ocho Rios.

We had a great day with Mr. Bryan. We had plenty of time to enjoy Dunns Falls (climbed on our own), Blue Hole, and stop for lunch.
Highly recommended if you are coming into Falmouth via cruise ship. Van was clean and plenty of room

We had a great time in Jamaica. Our driver was very knowledgeable about the area and kept us on track to make sure that we were able to maximize our time at each of our locations. Safety was a concern of ours, the whole trip, and he made it to where we were relaxed and feeling safe the whole time. Can’t wait to use Marvin Tours again or this site for upcoming adventures.

Amazing tour! Sunshine and Lopez helped us the whole time. This is a must do must see excursion. Everything was taken care of for us and Sunshine made sure we all knew what we needed and what to do! I will recommend to everyone!

What a great excursion! My family of 4 would highly recommend this excursion! Mr. T and Suzanne did a wonderful job chatting, giving us island information and making sure everyone was having a good time. The guides at the blue hole were awesome! The waterfalls were beautiful and all the cliff jumps were exhilarating!
Get off the boat as quickly as you can, once all parties are there the trip begins and the earlier you leave the more time you have. Walk all the way across the port shops and across the taxi road area and you will find your guide holding a sign with your name. Also, don’t forget cash. There are 2 guides at Blue Hole, 2 guides at Dunn’s, plus your guide and driver.

Mr Campbell was amazing. He picked us promptly as he said he would. He drove us around and was very informative. Great conversation, great customer service. He made us feel like true VIP’s. One huge “tell” that he was all about taking care of us… we ended a little early at dunns falls, putting us ahead of schedule. He took the time and showed us other things instead of dropping us off early. He wasn’t looking for the “I’m done, drop and run”.
Great tour, great tour guide.
Blue hole is great. High adventure. Do the jumps, do the swing… it’s a blast.
Dunns falls… do your own climb… it’s more fun and it’s a ton quicker. We zipped right up in about 20 minutes.

We had an amazing day with Sean. Dunn’s Falls was really fun, but it was Crazy Busy with people. There were a lot of people and it was really slow moving.
We really enjoyed Blue Hole, it wasn’t nearly as busy and definitely was more of an adventure. We jumped off the deck which was about 10 feet above the falls into the fast river. We also did the rope swing. Both of these were really fun!
Sean organized a Jerk Chicken meal for us that we took to go so that we would get back to our Cruise port on time.
We were a private group of 8 and we thoroughly enjoyed it. This tour would be way better than a large tour with the cruise.

The private tour operator you can absolutely trust. We had really fantastic experience with Campbel who drove us thru these 2 locations that were really amazing while still telling us about Jamaican culture and history. We hence learnt a lot of new stuff! We arrived on board of a cruise ship and I was afraid to book with an independent tour operator as I heard stories if ever you book a shore excursion with operator other than Royal Caribbean the ship could sail without you if you happen to be late. I wanted to book with the cruise ship in the first place but was late as all the excursions were already sold out. So I decided to take a chance with Marvyn and was not disappointed at all. From the very beginning of our tour the driver asked me when our ship sails so he adapts our tour schedule to be back on time. We finally had a really good time and returned back 30 min before sailing.

We had a great time with Gregory, our tour guide. The entire experience with Marvin's was great. Booking was easy. Communication was great. They told us exactly what we needed to do in the Falmouth port to find them. Gregory took great care of us. Highly recommend.

We booked a day trip with Marvyn's Paradise Tours for our family to go to Dunn's River Falls and the Blue Hole. We were in Falmouth on a Royal Caribbean Cruise which is about an hour away from Ocho Rios. Sean was waiting for us at the port, which happens to be one of the more manicured ports we have ever been too, and we loaded into the air conditioned van for our ride to Ocho Rios. Sean was great, telling us all about the towns we were passing through as well as information about the island in general.
After about an houre we arrived at Dunn's River Falls where Sean took care of getting our wristbands and escorted us through the entrance until we were paired up with our guide for the falls. The falls were a great experience...everyone in our party loved it! Sean was waiting for us when we came out from the falls and brought us back to the van for our trip to the Blue Hole.
Blue Hole is also in Ocho Rios, but up in the mountains and a bit more difficult to get to...maybe a 15 - 20 ride up the mountain. We actually passed the "Blue Hole" and stopped at "Fern Gully". I think they are the same place, just different starting points. It looked like the Blue Hole is a little bit of a walk through the jungle to get to the pools and falls, while Fern Gully allows you to park right there.
Either way, Sean - again - took care of getting wrist bands and hooking us up with a guide and we had a great time swimming and jumping off rocks. You can take pictures if you have a water proof camera, or they offer pictures of your time jumping and swimming (very good pictures!). They will show you all the pictures on a laptop at the end and if you like the pictures they will copy them onto a dvd for you (for a fee). By the way, Dunn's River Falls offers the same thing, and theirs has video, but you don't get to see the pictures/video until you watch the disk on your own device.
Sean warned us before we started at the Blue Hole that we had to watch the time because getting back to Falmouth would be longer than the trip to Ocho Rios, and he was absolutely right! We were planning on stopping for some local food and shopping, but we spent too much time having fun at our two stops. We listened to Sean and got back on the road. The trip back probably took about two hours. There is a lot of talk about the "new road" between Falmouth and Ocho Rios and how much better it is than the old one, but it is still mostly a two lane road and traffic gets pretty bad in the afternoon.
Sean had us back in time to do a little bit of shopping at the port. He brought us through the gates of the port and dropped us off right at the shops. It was a great day...even included a phone call from Marvyn! I guess he likes to meet the clients in person whenever possible. We didn't get to meet him, but we did have a quick conversation.
It was a great day in Jamaica! Thank you to Marvyn's Paradise Tours and our driver Sean.
