A total waste of time. I learned that Inverness once had a mental hospital and little else. We walked around the city later and liked it but the hop-on hop-off was a waste of money.

Inverness is in no way big enough to have an open top bus tour. If you want to see the city then walking really is the best and only choice. Some parts of the city are quite nice and if you walked, stopping in a bar or cafe every now and then you can see all the nice bits in an hour or two. Cut out the refreshments and 10/15 mins should do it!
Inverness must think it's Liverpool or Barcelona to have a bus tour! To pad it out to 50 mins or so they take you down residential roads, around the leisure centre car park and some miles out of the city to a Jacobite loch boat trip.
We laughed. A lot. It's so ridiculous! Don't waste your money.

The hosts of the guest house are amazing nothing to much trouble for them clean comfortable room lovely breakfast really interested on what you were doing while you are there just to see if they could advise anything else you might want to do while you are there

Harrison was such a knowledgeable and informative guide with lots of interesting stories. Skye is a beautiful area and if one does not have a car, and even if one does, this is an economical and stress free way to get a great overview of the island in one day…..though a long one. Only suggestion I could make would be to lower the volume on the music which is played when not providing narration. Thank you so much Harrison.

Road works and foul weather disrupted the flow of the tour, but even then I don’t consider it worth the £12 ticket unless you want to get to and from the head of Loch Ness cheaply. Not a great deal to see from the bus and the info was lacking.

We enjoy the hop on and off buses to allow us to get a feel for a location and the "lay of the land." This tour is short (small city/town), but made us feel comfortable in our ability to navigate the area. Since we were traveling by train, it was pouring during our stay and we had my parents with us, the tour allowed us to see the town easily in a way would not have otherwise been able to.
