Our fun and entertaining guide will make this a memorable experience for you filled with offbeat sightseeing, visiting local popular hangout places and trying the local food & drinks.
Enjoy the natural surroundings of the Venetian lagoon on a relaxing boat trip to the picturesque islands of Murano, Burano, and Torcello.
On Murano, you can watch master craftsmen create original works of art in glass, following techniques and trade secrets that have been handed down through the centuries.
Navigating on through the salt marshes you will reach Burano, a fishing village with brightly colored cottages, and home of exquisite hand-made lace. Here you can sample the local fish risotto and traditional buranei biscuits.
Just five minutes further on by boat lies the island of Torcello. Now a quiet backwater, Torcello was once a thriving lagoon settlement and here you will rediscover the very origins of Venetian civilization.

The worst trip I have ever taken. Paid over $400 for this tour for 2 of us. The guide barely spoke. We walked for at least an hour to get to the boat to take us to our first stop, Murano. Guide stopped at least 3 strangers on the street to ask for directions. As we were walking I asked if he was going to tell us anything - his reply was “what do you want to know” I thought a private guided tour would be more informative & personal than a group tour. Not in this case. I learned nothing about where we were, where we were headed, or anything we saw along the walk. In the end I realized we could have met much closer to where we were going instead & saved us an hour getting to the meeting spot. On Murano we were suppose to see a glass blower. The guide took us to where it was but they were not blowing glass. Finally we decided to stop for food & then decided to forego the rest of the tour & asked to be taken close to our hotel. We were only in Venice for 2 days & this was a complete waste of time & money. I deserve a complete refund as it was nothing as advertised.

Was a lovely day out, however very different from the last time I visited many many years ago. The glass blowing was too short and my family would have liked to have seen more demonstrations.
Burano was lovely to see and take pictures we stoped for lunch as we had 2 hours to look around.
Torcello was not very interesting for my family but we did get a few souvenirs.
All in all the trip was worth the money and a good day trip out learning all about the historical facts.
