Subject: Urgent complaint: Extreme disappointment regarding the service of the tour at the Château de Vienne
Good morning,
I would like to express our deep disappointment with the quality of the service we received during our recent visit to the Château de Vienne, organized by your company.
We had initially booked a tour on May 2 for 11:00 a.m. on May 3, but 3 hours after our reservation, we were informed via WhatsApp that there were no more places available at that time, despite the fact that we had received a reservation confirmation at 9:48 a.m. (see pj)
After insisting, we were told that the slot we had reserved at the base, at 11:30 a.m., did not exist. Eventually we were put back on the tour with a guide at 2:30 p.m., who was unfortunately in German, a language we don't speak.
This situation made it impossible for us to follow the tour of the gardens as well as the castle, thus significantly reducing the value of our experience.
We wanted to cancel our tour but the person we spoke with said it was impossible to cancel the reservation. You had to wait until you were inside the castle in order to have guided audio in the desired language.
However, after visiting the gardens in German and having accessed the interior of the castle with the guide, it was not possible for us to have an audio guide service not included in our offer. The lack of an English audio guide in the castle was another source of frustration, as this could have potentially compensated for the language barrier.
We are extremely disappointed by the overall quality of the service. We had high expectations for this tour, given the price paid, but unfortunately those expectations were not met at all.
We hope that you understand the extent of our disappointment and that immediate steps will be taken to improve the quality of your services in the future.
In this context I ask you to reimburse me for the 2 places that we purchased through you and which do not correspond at all to our initial request

Tripadvisor is great
The day was great
But what's not okay
I thought I had booked with Tripadvisor, but they ordered the tickets from Viator behind my back, which took a lot of hassle and calling to resolve it.

We were 5 minutes late and could not contact costumer service- the just kept ringing.
We bought new tickets and haven’t received a refund.

Took over 2 hours to get anywhere, nothing was being accepted at the venue, no tickets coming through on your Viator connections. Cost us a fortune in charges, even called India & got nowhere, a total let down & waste of c. £85..... Felt awful, total poor experience. Gave up.

There is really nothing “priority” about this “tour” other than it’s double the price and you get a different time to what you booked. Book direct online! Totally not worth it!
