WE WILL TAKE YOU OUT OF THE TOURIST ROUTES !!
Surrounded by a landscape, sometimes lunar, we will try to know and explore Etna, a World Heritage Site, famous for its beauty and uniqueness.
We will cross:
- Deserts of Black Sand- Woods- Ancient and Recent Lava Flows- Old craters - Lava Tubes -to admire the fascinating VALLE DEL BOVE!!
-Difficulty: Medium-Easy;
-Itinerary length: about 5.5 km;
-Maximum altitude:about 2100 m;
-Trekking duration: about 3-3.5hours;
-Difference in altitude: about 350m.
The route in case of adverse weather conditions or real safety risks can be changed!!
Other things to keep in mind:The duration of the experience is indicative. Unpredictable situations could cause the experience to end later than expected.
It is always better not to make the day of the experience coincide with the date of your flight, if the scheduled time is too close to your departure / arrival.
(It is important to wear trekking shoes or that you are not afraid of getting dirty)

Wonderful excursion with two amazing guides. Our original early-morning booking was cancelled last minute and we were offered a later tour the same day, which turned out to be a blessing in disguise. Our tour guides were very prompt with communications and meet-up instructions. Both guides were amazing. No description or picture can do justice to experiencing Mt Etna in real life. Thanks to our tour guides, we had an unforgettable excursion to Mt Etna! I will not hesitate to book with them again.

Canceled my tour on a bright sunny day as FORECAST PROJECTED ! Went by myself, had the best time in my life.DO NOT BOOK THIS TOUR. Mine was through airbnb,same people-Raffaella and Chrystopher. Do NOT BOOK THEM. Unprofessional!

I wouldn't recommend. I had a bad experience. The organizer didn't do a good job. For me and my husband, it was a waste of time.

We booked this tour. But it was cancelled at half to 11 pm the day before the tour should be conducted. So we had no chance to book another tour. The reason of the tour guide for the cancellation was a bad weather forecast. But as I checked the forecast myself best weather was expected. The next day we went to Etna by public transport and did a guided tour to the summit. The weather was wonderful and also the tour. It is of course ok to cancel a tour, but the reason should be a true reason and not a lie. This is unacceptable. So I cannot recommend to book here a tour. Instead get with public transport to Etna (from Catania for just 6.50€) and do one of the guided tours there.

Chrys and Rafaella led a great tour of Etna. The trail was away from most tourists, which made it more special and they were very knowledgeable about their surroundings.

Awesome place one has to see once in life, awesome lady who told us the stories about the place, answered our weird questions and also gave us mini Italian lessons. Going alone is just not the same thing - the guide gave it the magic touch.
We were provided with walking sticks, helmets for a cave we visited at the end (which were necessary, since we bumped with our head at the ceiling of the cave), a water bottle and a small sweet snack. Even hiking shoes were provided.
Tip: We advise you to take the provided shoes, because you walk in sand/small stones and sink in a bit and afterwards the shoes were full of small stones and also the wear and tear for the shoes is quite high.
Even if you are an older person or don't have such a high fitness level, you should be able to do the tour. That is actually the nice thing: Low effort, high reward! (The place is great and you get transferred quite high by car uphill). If you can control your kids it is also suitable for them - a mountain is obviously a dangerous place.
The only negative thing we have to mention: The cave tour is a bit short, but there were >100 positive things and we don't want to spoil your experience, just let yourself get surprised, it is more than just a hike.
We were glad we booked it, really deserved the 5*, the guide cared personally for us and didn't see us just as customers. One of our highlights of our Sicily trip :)

Chrystopher and Rafaella were amazing guides, the route through the Etna’s hills and sands rewards you with views not of this Earth. Perfect experience.

Great arrangement with the excellent guides. We enjoyed every moment during the tour. It was the highlight in our Sicily trip. Definitely recommended!!
