A lot of walking even though we hired a car, but the tour guide was worth the exhaustion!

We had a day tour of Istanbul with a fantastic guide: Serkan Mert!! He was so gracious and patient with us and all of our needs for the day. He was prompt, knew all about all of the sites (so many years in school!!!), very interesting, fun (!) and helpful. I had some special requests and he arranged everything perfectly! Thank. Serkann!!

For our morning tour of Topkapı Palace, we were met at the appointed by a representative of Get your Guide, and introduced to our guide Cem. Cem, a registered professional, proved to be a friendly fount of knowledge regarding the Palace and Ottoman history. We were a mid-sized group of twelve, multiple nationalities with a range of ages. The pace was steady and the route through Topkapı Palace worked well for us. The weather was pleasant, and the morning time slot allowed us to avoid the afternoon crowds.

We went on the full one day tour of Istanbul ( Blue Mosque, Aya Sophia, Topkapi Palace and the Grand Bazaar). From the start there was little communication about the plan for the day and some confusion about the pre-arranged meeting place. The guide was no very engaging and sometimes borderline rude. The tour alternated from being slow and not seeing much to a rushed march with no information about the sites being passed. Although very knowledgable about the Mosques and Palace it was hard work sometimes getting this information out of the guide.
The enforced visit to a carpet shop, Turkish Delight Shop and lunch venue made us feel that we were viewed a means to increase revenue at these other businesses.
We would recommend doing these attractions independently and investing in a good guide book.

Did a 1 day private tour in Istanbul with Erdemm! There was 4 of us and we loved everything we learned and saw on our private tour! Working with company owner - Serken was a really great experience. He is such a nice man who really goes above and beyond for his customers and I will absolutely use this company again for any future tours while in Turkey!! (Also used while in Cappadocia)

Serkan was our tour coordinator that helped me plan a tour to all the main sites in Istanbul for my family of 15 coming from Chicago, USA. It was very convenient to communicate with him via WhatsApp. He was always available and responded quickly. He arranged everything from airport transfer to the actual tour day. The vehicle he provided my family was comfortable and spacious. He was very responsive to our needs and accommodated our requests. Serkan arranged a Bosporus boat tour which was absolutely beautiful. The boat was spacious and luxurious. He set us up with our driver, Ahmet who picked my family up from two hotels to take us to the port and tour guide, Yuksel. Both were very patient and flexible with my big group. Yuksel was knowledgeable about the history of Istanbul and was enthusiastic to show us the city from the water view. Yuksel then took us to an amazing restaurant where we enjoyed authentic Turkish cuisine followed by a tour of the Fatih Mosque. He always made sure we were having a great time and attended to all our needs. I would highly recommend this company and these individuals. They are all very professional and helped make our trip to Istanbul very memorable.
