This tour was extremely disappointing. Understanding the tour guide's English was a struggle. The hotels were unclean, and I had to book a different hotel and pay out of my own pocket. The food was bad and the transportation arrangements were chaotic. In conclusion, I strongly advise against taking this tour.

Sofia at sofia travel is accommodative, very responsive and she fixed any issue arise. We decided to let her arranged our Hoi An, Da Nang , Hue and HCM City tour. She did quite an excellent job from all coordination from her office based in Hanoi. So far this Vietnam tour is quite an eye opening experience for us to view this developing coubtry. Traffic was choatic, lots of motorbycles. Crossing the roaads in Vietbam are like running from your lives.
Ha long bay was serene but we saw lots of pollution in the water. Hoi An is our favourite city. We enjoyed the lantern boats ride and the night scenary. In general, people in Vietnam are friendly. Will l return to visit the country again. Not in the near future.

The whole trip was amazing! The schedule is not so tight so you could enjoy the places in a relaxed manner. The tour guides are witty and are very approachable so you’ll definetely not worry about anything. The drivers are also superb! You can sit and enjoy Vietnam views with no worries. Sofia is very easy to contact via Whatsapp and is providing you with solutions when you have concerns (luggage, hotel, etc)

Sofia Travel made it so easy for us to travel and it was a pleasant surprise we could upgrade the hotels and overnight train cabins.
A few things we would have preferred - more time in Sapa, a variety of restaurants to try different local specialties in Sapa and better overnight train cabins (not Sofia's fault - this is on the carrier since their photos do not match the website) since they weren't comfortable, very loud making it hard for all of us to sleep more than a few hours.
Highly recommend Sofia travel and if we come back to Vietnam, we would definitely use Sofia Travel again and appreciated her organized planning and responsiveness during our travels!

Sofia Travel made it so easy for us. Nearly everything was planned out and we had such a great time on our trip.
There’s a few things we would do differently like only booking taxis not included on Grab and upgrading our sleeping trains but we loved it.
Highly recommend Sofia travel and if we come back to Vietnam, we would definitely use Sofia Travel again.

Great communication, very prompt replies. There was an issue where we were dropped off at the wrong hotel but Sofia got back to us as soon as possible and arranged for a car to pick us up within 5mins. Aside from that, everything else went according to plan and we had a great time.
The downside was that the hotels and cruise we stayed didn’t meet our expectations. The hotel in Sapa turned out to be 2 stars instead of 3 stars as promised. It may have been the case that we wanted an upgrade to balcony view at the expense of 2 stars instead of 3 stars so beware of that. The cruise was listed as 4 stars but felt very old and run down and more of a 2 star cruise: the hotel in Hanoi is 3 stars but the furniture and decoration was also run down.
7 days also felt a little too rushed for us. For example, we treked up and down 1000 steps and had a full day trip at Ninh Binh then had to jump onboard an overnight train to Sapa later that night. An extra day might have helped a little in terms of rest but we did opt for 7 days instead of 8 so this was expected.
