What a memorable morning on the water with East Cape Explorers! Max and Eric did a great job of making sure our group, comprised of different parties of all ages and levels of experience, had a great time. Max, our guide, did a great job of leading us to the best spots and capturing what we saw on his GoPro. Eric, the captain, kept scanning the water for whales and once he spotted some, he got the boat just close enough for us to watch them for as long as we liked. The equipment was great and the free underwater photos and videos at the end was a nice bonus. This tour was not only great fun, but a good value too. Exceeded expectations.

Max (tour guide) and Eric (boat captain) were fabulous. We went on the 9am snorkeling tour which we booked 2 days before after doing the whale watching tour with amazing Rosie and Ruben. This company is very professional, equipment is well maintained and good quality. Easy to tell everyone loves their job and San Jose del Cabo. We saw whales on both trips and a mobile ray jumping. On the snorkeling at zacatitos we saw lots of colorful fish including 3 types of puffa fish, parrot fish, school of jacks and the turtle. We were greeted back at marina by a sea lion. Just magical. Thank you east cape explorers for making our first trip to San Jose del Cabo one to remember. See you next year!

What a memorable morning! East Cape Explorers make snorkeling totally easy. They give you everything you need and whatever you brought that you don’t need, you can store at their dive shop. Mac was our guide and Erik was our captain. Both went above and beyond to make sure everyone had a good time. I forgot to take my seasickness meds and was super queasy. They made sure I was ok, and I never felt bad about slowing down the group. I was just able to jump back in when I was ready. Erik was looking for whales the whole time, so when we happened upon some, he was ready and got us to a great viewing spot. When different people wanted to do different things, Max made a plan so all needs were met. As a bonus, he takes pictures and videos which he shares with you for free. Everyone in our group had a great time and went home happy. Very well priced for everything you get.

Excellent experience. We liked that the boat went out of the marina near San Jose del Cabo, (no crowds) rather than San Lucas, and that wet suits were included. Location of snorkeling was great with lots of fish, turtles and other sea creatures. Our guide Paola clearly loves her work and was enthusiastic and committed. We had only 3 on the boat with 2 guides (one unrelated guy did scuba with one guide) so a very personal trip. Had a nice up close viewing of a whale slapping its flukes. Overall highly recommend and will look this group up for future trips.

Many fish, turtles, saw a whale tail slapping. Went out of marina del Playa so not the noisy crowds of San Lucas. Wet suits included! Wonderful guides and boat captain. There were only 3 total on the trip so no crowd in the boat, either.

Snorkeling was good but pre trip communication was terrible. After booking on line received an email acknowledging receipt of payment and stating that trip details were attached. There was no attachment. I emailed and what's app to the numbers shown in the website but never received a reply. One day before the regular trip I attempted to call several times but.. could not connect with anyone . I did not where to meet or time. So we were late and held up trip. Mentioned to Tom twice that a little communication would have helped but received only a smirk in reply.

Great snorkeling adventure! Professional and courteous guide who provided great instruction and participated in the activity, as well. Wonderful activity for beginners or experienced snorkelers. The provided wetsuits were greatly appreciated and made the experience more enjoyable, since water temperatures were a bit cool. Will snorkel again in the future with this group.

Had a great time snorkeling with Rosie. I've been snorkeling before, but she gave helpful reminders on what to do. Thankfully the water was calm and clear and she showed me two excellent locations, including a shipwreck. Saw amazing fish throughout and also did some whale watching. Rosie was great at finding cool fish and turtles in the water somehow that I never would've noticed. Very professional and a terrific boat captain as well. Light snacks and water was provided as well. Highly recommended!

Incredible experience with the stellar crew st East Cape Explorers. Did Gordo Banks, an advanced dive for experience divers only. Hammerhead shark city!!!!!

Max gave a great snorkeling excursion. Boat and equipment were great. A highlight was seeing an Eagle ray with white spots. We would enjoy swimming with max again.
