My family and I (2 adults, 16 yo, 14 yo and 8 yo) went on this trip this week. It was a very early start but was well worth it. The guides were lovely, very knowledable and funny. Everything was so well planned so that you could literally enjoy every second of the trip. No long periods of waiting around. The food for lunch was authentic and delicious (they happily catered for a vegetarian too). A real eye opener into the culture in Tangier and trip we will definitely remember.

Our Spanish guide was wonderful, but once we arrived in Morocco it seemed like the entire excursion simply revolved around encouraging us to shop. We spent most of the time in the medina where the guide showed us one shop after another. Later he said he would show us some shopping places he thought we would enjoy, but it turned out to be one shop. Almost no one bought anything. Later he left us on our own for more than an hour, so most of the people on the tour went to a cafe and waited.

This was not a tour it was all about buying from merchants that the guide took us to,
and all the pedlars harassing us , it was absolutely a disgusting trip

Miguel was amazing. So organised and efficient with everything. Also amazing that he could speak so many languages. He made the day! Thank you!. . The only downside was at the restaurant when we were told that the juice was complementary, only to be charged €2 for it at the end, along with the Tip for the band, the tip for the waiter, tip for the bus driver, etc. I think we all were charged around €10 extra (based on a €2 tip per activity) for things we took as being part of the tour and not extra. The lunch was lovely though.

The tour company did a great job. Highly organized and efficient. Julia travel did a fantastic job. I think everyone in our group agreed, the tour was great, but the destination wasn’t. Morocco is very pretty and offers quite an adventure from Europe, but the street vendors were absolutely miserable, pushy, and aggressive. We have no interest in going back to Morocco, but would be happy to take another Julia travel tour

The organisation of the tour was very efficient if not also curtly rude. Wee arrived at each destination on time and instructions were very clear and accurate.
The trip was an interesting snap shot of a headache and highly tourist area.
Sales sharks circled at every step and it appeared that the tour guide colluded with vendors to exploit tourists. Beware the interpretation of vegetarian. Common misunderstanding locally that it's okay to cook vegetables and cous cous in chicken stock.
The inclusive lunch was miserable and an insult to the subtle flavoursome Morrocan style of cooking. Markets full of wonderful affordable delights which were certainly not used in the inadequate and embarrassing meal offered.
5 out of 5 for learning experience. 1 for everything else.

Nothing but issues. Ended up not even getting to go on the trip we paid for, but the company kept all of our money. The customer service rep said we would get a full refund (just under $900 USD), but the company went back on the promise and refused to return any of our money, and refused to reschedule our trip. Run! Find ANY trip company but this one. They are very dishonest and thieves.

Very nice experience. Riding camels, tasting traditional food in a beautiful restaurant that it was a set for a Hollywood movie, snake’s charmer, Medina visit, zoco market. The guide was a professional.

This is a hard write up to do, because the tour of Tangiers was very good, with a great guide, Stephan. That 6 hours of the tour itself was well worth it. T
However, the restaurant was a let down and having to pay for water was a joke.
So why the 4 rating? We booked rhe tour from Malaga, with a 4:30 am pick-up and nearly midnight finish. It was 5 hours from the pick-up until we stepped onto Morocco, and 6 hours return (including waiting to board the ferry).
So, the tour of Tangiers was good, but 11 hours of travel was way too long. Had we done our research, we would have done the tour from Algeciras or Tarifa Port.
Lesson learnt!

We hesitated at first due to the comments here but we tried our luck anyway.
It turned out to be a wonderful experience for us. We ate traditional Moroccan lunch and were welcomed by musicians at the restaurant. Service & food was good .Both of the tour guides made our Tangier trip memorable.
