We really enjoyed out visit to the National Gallery, the entry is free to the gallery but the online booking gets sold out well in advance, and we purchased this to skip the line, the ticket worked and we could skip hour long queue, the audio tour via app was okay not great, but this is a great deal to save time.

While the National Gallery was wonderful, we found out after we arrived that admission is free and the audio guides are 5 pounds so almost half of what we paid. The map in the app we had to download to access the audio paid for was not very good. (I found an image on the internet the was much more helpful), the audio featured one overview (1 minutes 25 seconds) and 9 audios of specific works (average of 1 minute 45 seconds each), I guess there is something to say for still having access to it but…I would have rather been able to select the works of art I was interested in learning more about. The only silver lining is that we were allowed to enter without standing in queue. But that was because we asked the docent outside where we should go to pick up our audio tour. (We had not yet seen the email from trip advisor)
