Francesco was very kind and knowledgeable. She is a good story teller and has a passion for Pompei. We have seen the North part of Pompei with the tour and we have seen the best preserved houses. I recommend you the tour to get to know the history of Pompei.

We really enjoyed our guided tour around Pompeii. We were taken to places that we may have passed by, not realising the importance, history and detail. Our guide was very thorough, informative, fun and made it really interesting. She answered any questions and was very helpful. We would recommend this tour. We advise going early to avoid the crowds and heat.

Anna was amazing!! Was just over 2 hours and honestly, it went so fast. Me and my boyfriend learned so much especially as there is no writing explaining the places, and the map is no help. I would definitely reccomend this tour, especially as the tour guide knows her stuff!!

This was a fantastic tour, perfect for our small group of four friends. We had limited time at Pompeii and this tour really helped us get the most out of our time there. Our guide Anna was absolutely fantastic, so friendly, informative, and very entertaining! We loved her. Thanks Anna!

Francesco was an amazing guide. He had a great sense of humour and a wonderful knowledge of Pompeii. He made the tour fun rather than just presenting the facts in a dry and boring way. My 11 yo daughter even commented it was her favourite tour of our entire trip and she is a hard nut to crack!
I do agree with other reviews where communication with the tour organiser was very difficult and had to be followed up to get the basic info needed such as where to meet and what time. But in true Italian style… it may have seemed chaotic but in the end it all worked out ok. I would highly recommend this tour.
Vesuvius we too only had one hour which was a tough ask. It’s a big walk all uphill and in the heat not an easy task. We basically made it to the crater and had to return immediately to meet our guide. Whilst you don’t need to be an iron man to make it to the crater it isn’t a walk in the park.

Francesco is a fantastic tour guide. He speaks clearly, finds shady spots for a brief rest, and brings out so many fascinating details of the Romans and life in Pompeii. Pompeii itself is vast, amazingly sophisticated and incredibly recovered. This is a trip that will not be forgotten.
Vesuvius was, to us at least, just OK. It involves a steep hike up for 25 minutes to see the crater. This is after a windy and energetic ride in the van. There are few facilities. The views are very nice, but not particularly better than we have in Sorrento.
The drivers were punctual and professional, and dealt well with managing the shifting people as the day passed.

The tour was amazing! Our guide, Francisco, is very funny, knowledgeable, and patient. Our son was making a lot of questions, and Francisco was happily answering all of them. We enjoyed it a lot!

We booked a tour in Italian language. We were the only tourists for this tour, but it wasn’t cancelled. Our (personal) guide was Francesco who is amazing. I really recommend him if you want to enjoy your visit to Pompei.
