1. Ancient City of Ephesus
Discover one of the most popular trade cities of ancient Greek and Roman Empire. Ephesus is probably the most famous ancient site in Turkey. It was a busy trade center as a port city. Ephesus had a great influence on the ancient world. Also as an important religious center of early Christianity and one of the seven churches mentioned in the Book of Revelations. In Ephesus you will see, Celcus Library, Temple of Hadrian, the fountain of Trajan and the Theater and more.
2. Ephesus Terrace Houses
These are exclusive residences situated on the slopes opposite the Temple of Hadrian along Curetes Street. Commonly known as the “rich houses,” they were uncovered during recent excavations. The houses near Curetes Street feature colonnaded porticoes, while step streets connected directly to the house entrances. We will stop at Terrace Houses and explore the Houses of Rich Ephesians.
3. The Temple of Artemis
Temple of Artemis is one of the Seven Wonders of the World completed in 550 BC is at the outskirts of Ephesus. It is a sanctuary built in a sacred place. The temple itself dates back to 8th century BC but the sacred place dates way back. It has been destroyed three times and rebuilt. But it has been abandoned after Christians started to rule the area.
4. Selcuk
Open buffet lunch in a local restaurant with traditional Turkish Food & vegetarian options in Selcuk.
5. Meryemana (The Virgin Mary's House)
Virgin Mary’s House is a Catholic shrine located at the skirt of Bulbul Mountain in Selcuk. It is discovered after a nun in Germany described the place in her visions about a house Mother Mary lived before she died. It has become an important pilgrimage spot for Catholics since then.

We highly recommend taking this tour if you want to see historical sights from Kusadasi. We were picked up from our hotel in a modern air/conditioned minivan with a driver and guide and were happy to find we were the only ones so it was like a private tour! We visited the Virgin Mary House, the incredible city of Ephesus, Library of Celcus and the Temple of Artemis. We also stopped at a traditional pottery making place that was very interesting. We had time for a delicious lunch so in total it was about 6 hours, plenty of time. Our guide Huseyin was very knowledgeable and gave us lots of information about the places we visited and took great photos of us in each location. It was a lovely hassle free way to see the ancient sights in comfort and style.

Ephesus tour was a wonderful experience of rich History and Beautiful place .The Children really enjoyed the place and with our Excellent Tour guide Huseyin giving us a perfect History lesson.The Ephesus Theatre experience in the end was an icing on the cake.
Also a great place to take pictures with your family.
Visited the Church of Mother Mary which is an important historical site.

We loved our trip to Ephesus from Kusadasi. We were able to visit the ancient city of Ephesus, the house of the Virgin Mary, had a traditional Turkish lunch buffet, went to a leather shop and had a private fashion show that we got to be a part of, went to a ceramic/pottery making shop and again got to participate in making a piece of pottery and also went to a candy shop. It was a full day with lots of walking but worth it. The terrain is very uneven in ancient Ephesus and I highly recommend wearing comfortable clothing/shoes. Derya was an excellent tour guide and was knowledgeable about the locations we visited and the culture as well. Our favorite parts of the trip were visiting the House of the Virgin Mary and ancient Ephasus. We highly recommend this trip.
