It was our first family trip to Turkey, we visited the city of We were fortunate to have Hugo as a guide who, in addition to being an excellent guide, speaks Spanish very well. He explained everything to us very well and we learned a lot from him, thank you very much for all your support, he is an excellent photographer

Hold on to your hats everybody as I am about to state the obvious. "A GOOD GUIDE MAKES ALL THE DIFFERENCE".
We first visited Ephesus and its associated attractions in 2019 and left confused and frustrated due to our guides complete inability to relate to anyone without a Masters in ancient history.
Fast forward to today for the do over.
We were picked up on time by the team from Puerto Travel. Gufte was our guide and Askin was our driver. We give them both 12 out of 10.
Askin has a beautifully clean vehicle and was a very safe driver.
Gufte was an amazing guide who had great language skills and could put all the relevant information into an easy to understand commentary, something our previous guide could not do.
The day started with a visit to the house of the Virgin Mary and proceeded on to the city of Ephesus.
We then had lunch at a lovely rustic cafe (try the gozlemes) and proceeded on to the Temple of Artemis. You can choose to visit leather, turkish delight or carpet outlets on the way (the carpet one was really interesting).
We were returned to our hotel with a new found appreciation of these sites thanks to Gufte.
A big special thank you from us to Gufte, Askin and everyone at Puerto travel for a great day😄😄

If you want your visit to Pamukkale and Hierapolis to be unforgettable Hugo is the person you are looking for. Their knowledge of both the history and current events of Turkey has made us enjoy the day... along with the delicious traditional Turkish food that we have tasted in a small town in the area. Thanks also to Ahmed, prudent and attentive driver. We took some fantastic photos with us as souvenirs. Thanks again to both of you.

What can we say? Gufte was amazing! Very knowledgeable in the local history and very personable; nothing was too much trouble. The itinerary was comprehensive, with flexibility built in; eg we said we would like to sample the fruit wines, a speciality of Sirence, and this was accommodated with no problem. Excellent English. We highly recommend Puerto Travel for a tour of Ephesus and the surrounds.

The driver was very punctual and drove us from Izmir to the meeting point in Selçuk. The guide was very nice and could explain a lot of things about the historical places We visited also a Lamb leather fashion shop and a ceramic workshop. It was really interesting.
