I like traveling with Goodmate Travel, it was my second trip with them and this time we spent five beautiful days in Jeju. Every time my vocation with them is fun, relaxing and memorable. While I’m with Goodmate travel, I forget what day or month it is, I can truly rest mentally, leave all the responsibilities at home and just enjoy being taken care of. Highly recommended! Traveling to Korea had always been a goal of mine. One I was hesitant to accomplish alone. However, 3 or 4 years ago I stumbled across Jae's profile on Instagram and followed his journey as a traveler and eventually also when Goodmate Travel was initiated. I would have NEVER been able to explore Korea, the culture, the locals, the beauty without this tour. Everyone was so kind, so welcoming, so thrilled and absolutely excited to teach us more about Korea. I traveled on this tour with my younger sister and I can confidently say this trip has definitely brought us closer and definitely encouraged us to want to travel together more often. Jae and the entire team at Goodmate Travel have made our time in Korea, the BEST ever and I can guarantee that we are coming back and we would love to explore more of Korea and the world with this tour. This tour was truly a memorable experience from start to finish! I feel like what sets apart Goodmate Travel from most other tour companies is their dedication to creating personable small group trips that highlight both the popular points of interests as well as the hidden gems that showcase the uniqueness of the area, and this tour was no exception.
At every stop in Mokpo, Jeju, and Udo, the tour guides that joined us along the way shared their deep knowledge of the area’s history, culture, and some fun local anecdotes. From learning Korean words in the Jeju dialect, to understanding the rich history of the incredibly strong haenyos (women divers), this made the tour not only informative but also incredibly memorable and engaging. Each stop on the itinerary also provided ample time to explore, take photographs, and do plenty of souvenir shopping.
Transportation and lodging was top tier as well! We literally covered all modes of transportation; limousine buses in every location, chartered yacht experience in Mokpo, ferry to Jeju and Udo, and a flight back to Seoul. Also, all the accommodations each had its own unique features with free breakfast at pretty much all of them. Favorite hotel we stayed at was Playce, where we each got our own room with gorgeous sunrise views of Seongsan Ilchulbong.
Also, considering the quality of the whole trip experience, the tour offered excellent value for the cost! It included entry fees to attractions, ample amount of meals, and all the transportation costs previously mentioned.
So weather you're a first-time visitor to South Korea, or returning to delve deeper into the culture and visit places outside of Seoul, I highly recommend this tour for its personal touch, creating a warm and open environment for us travelers to form friendships with others, and providing many knowledgeable guides and a comprehensive itinerary. It left me with long lasting memories and a deeper appreciation of South Korea, and I would definitely book another tour with them again!

From start to finish the Goodmate Travel team made sure every detail was well thought of so the entire experience was seamless. This meant each of us could fully immerse ourselves in the experience without worrying about the details. Jae and Chris were amazing hosts who put an immense amount of thought into curating activities and experiences that were fit for everyone in the group. I had a great time. The trip is very well organized with the aim to support local realities. Amazing accomodations, every day a different local food and different local tour guide. It is not just about visiting the touristic sites, you will get very peculiar experiences which by myself I would have not been able to do. Chris and Jae do a terrific job in helping the group connect right during the very first day. If you want to have a wonderful experience and fall in love with South Korean I highly recommend this trip and everything that Goodmate Travel offers!

Visiting South Korea was my dream and @goodmatetravel made my dream came true 🙏😍. The Jeju trip was so exiting and so full of experiences and funny moments that it overcame all my expectations. The hotels we stated, the places we ate, the local guides and locations we visited - everything was thoroughly choosed to make our tour comfortable. I got to know a real Korea and Korean people💜🧡🩷. Even that I came alone I never felt myself lonely. In the beginning I hesitated because the trip was too pricy but now I think I paid too little. It would take a month for me to visit all places that we managed within 8 days. I want to thank GMT team for all their hard work that made this tour to an unforgettable memory. It will warm my heart for the rest of my life ♥️♥️♥️.

Where do I even start? It was 100/10 experience! Every detail, every aspect of the trip was so thoughtfully thought through. Jae and Chris are amazing hosts and truly give you a trip worth remembering! I have made life long friends and memories with wonderful people. I am so excited to book another trip with them again!!
If you want to see Korea and meet wonderful people you have to go with Goodmate Travel! You truly get to see and experience the real Korea! Not only did I meet wonderful friends on the tour but you get to meet wonderful locals who truly love their country and want to share their piece of the world with you.
The food, accommodation and transportation was wonderful! This is not a budget trip! You get wonderful service and experience.
I highly recommend this experience and think it is 100% worth the money!!
