This activity meets the objective of showing travelers the city of Medellín in a different way, where they are the ones who choose whether to experience it in an extreme way or if they want to live it as a relaxing adventure with a beautiful view. We are pioneers of paragliding in Antioquia, APPI and UHSPHA international certificates, for 26 years in 1997, since 11 years of flying and teaching after my first 5 years of experience. We are the children of Heaven Short film that won in CANES at the European air festival, we are a foundation that rescues young people from drugs and violence in the BELLO sector and we transform them into PILOTS.

Juansini was an absolute expert and made the experience enjoyable! We enjoyed a perfect day and perfect conditions soaring through the sky like a bird. This was my first time paragliding and I felt comfortable and safe. I would highly recommend to everyone and this was the biggest highlight of Medellin!

Amazing flight, both exciting and peaceful! Camilo was the perfect pilot, telling about all what we could see and making sure we got some good pictures. I really liked that we were able to do a bit of acrobatics at the end!
10/10 would recommend

Paragliding in Medellin was one of the best experiences of my life, and nothing would have been so spectacular had it not been for Juansini, the best paraglider. If you come to Medellin, this is a must-see experience. 🙏🏼

I went with a friend of mine and we really enjoyed the experience. For transportation, we had Silvana as our driver and she was an amazing person, super friendly, very fun to talk to, and made sure we got to our destination safely. The paragliding was very fun and a bit daunting at first, but you are in the air, it is very quiet and relaxing. You feel like you're the king of the world. Highly recommended. 10/10

Had the best experience. Our ride to the destination arrived earlier than planned but worked out perfectly. Videos and pictures came out beautiful. Felt very safe with the staff. Would recommend!

This was an experience out of this world, highly recommended, it has been one of the most extreme, fun and surprising experiences I have ever done. Camilo was great and very professional. I enjoyed every second of this flight, especially being my birthday and what a way to celebrate it with The Dream of Flying team. I will definitely return for more on my next visit to Medellín. A thousand thanks to the entire team, they are the best at this.

This was an amazing experience. I traveled to Colombia with my 23 year-old daughter. Paragliding was on her list to do in Medellin. We booked Dream of Flying on a Friday afternoon for Saturday at 3:00 PM. Later that night Juan contacted me about coming earlier because rain was in the forecast for the afternoon.
Juan arranged for a driver to pick us up at our Airbnb in the Poblado neighborhood of Medellín $140,000 pesos. You can probably Uber to there, but there aren’t any Ubers at the top to bring you back. I thought the driver was well worth the peace of mind. It took about 45 minutes to get to the top of the mountain peak.
Once you arrive, there is a fairly grueling stair climb to the very top where the business is located. I was paired with Andres who was extremely friendly and excited to share his love of paragliding. I was quickly fitted with equipment, watched as Andres and another employee went through the safety checklist, and received brief instructions to keep running toward the edge until we were in the air. I was handed a selfie stick with a Go Pro on it and we were off.
There’s no way to describe how beautiful the area is or how incredible the views of Medellín are from the air. Andres began gaining altitude and we spent a good 20 minutes in the air. Everything felt very safe and it was quite exhilarating. Andres downloaded some 300+ pictures to my phone and several videos once we were unhooked. This experience in the states would have been several times more expensive in the states. I was able to use a credit card to tip Andres and my daughter’s guide.
I highly recommend The Dream of Flying while you are in Medellín. Ask for Andres. He’ll take great care of you!
