3. Roman Forum
Just West of the Colosseum is the Roman Forum, which for many centuries was the place where the future of the ancient western civilization was decided. We will also provide you with skip-the-line access to the Roman Forum and you will still be under the careful attention of our expert guide. Although today the Roman Forum stands in ruins, for many reigns it was at the very center of Rome’s activities. It started as a marketplace for daily shopping, but as the power of the Empire grew, it became much more important. In this part of the tour, you will explore the remnants of ancient grandiose temples, bustling marketplaces and imposing civic buildings. We will also show you the place where Rome first began – on Palatine Hill. Rome’s ancient existence has earned it the name “the Eternal City,” and its time as the ruling city of the lands bordering the Mediterranean Sea has earned it the designation, “Capital of the World.”

• Please provide the full names of all travelers when booking. Failure to present a voucher with all travelers' full names at the ticket office prior to entry may result in denied entry to the Colosseum and Roman Forum.
• If you arrive late for the meeting time, it will not be possible to join the group or reschedule, unless you pay for the activity again. As per "No Show" rules you will not be entitled to a refund.
• Please be advised capacity regulations and security may delay the tour departure. This could also influence the smooth running of the tour especially on national holidays and events.
• All visitors must pass through the monument/attraction security check please allow at least 20 minutes to clear security
• The exact timings and reservations can vary, dependant on the monument/attractions administration offices availabilities and decisions on the booking day and can be subject to last minute changes. Departure time can differ up to 20 minutes from your selected time.
• Due to uneven surfaces, this tour is not recommended for those with walking disabilities or using a wheelchair.
• Please be aware that large bags/backpacks/suitcases are not permitted in the monument/ attraction. Only very small bags are allowed. Please do not bring these items with you on the day of your tour as there are no cloakrooms at the monument.
• Children must be accompanied by an adult
• Dress code is comfortable clothing
• The Colosseum portion of the tour will last approximately 1.5 hours.
• The Roman Forum & Palatine Hill part of the tour will last approximately 1.5 hours.
• These tours are separated by a break to allow time for pictures or to spend more time in the monument or attraction
• Please let us know if possible your Hotel name in Rome.
• Please provide an active phone number during the booking process in order to be contacted about last minute changing.
• Pets are not allowed inside the venue
• Please note that from August 6th, 2021, all public museums in Italy will require all visitors above the age of 12 years old to show a valid ID and certification proving that you have either: Been vaccinated with an approved vaccine (Pfizer-BioNtech, Astrazeneca, Johnson & Johnson and Moderna) Been tested (PCR or antigen) with a negative result within the last 48hrs; Recovered from COVID-19, attested by a PCR or antigen test result, at least 15 days and no more than six months old;

Our tour guide company are thieves. Michael with ArTourtold us we could leave our luggage in their office while we toured the colusseum. Afterwards we realized we left a statue behind. Michael assured us he would send it to us in America if we send him money which we did. Then he stopped responding. It has been months of reaching out to him. Now we are disputing the money transfer but still can't get our statue back. Stay away from ARTOUR Touristc agency 26 via del Colosseo Rome. lazio AND Viator!

Loved it. Our tour guide was very knowledgeable and organized. He got us to all the best spots and we learned a ton. It’s definitely worth signing up for the underground and arena floor parts of the tour.

We had a great tour. The convenience with skip-the-line access along with access to the under ground area of the Colosseum were well worth the cost. Sarah, our tour guide, was very knowledgeable and professional. This was a great experience for our family.

Our guide, Claudia was full of facts and details of the history of the colosseum and forum, it was very interesting and engaging, I learned so much more than the previous times I had gone on my own. Very enjoyable activity, there is quite a bit of walking so those unable to stand or walk for 3+ hours should be cautious. Highly recommend.

Strict and unaccommodating; zero customer service. Followed meeting time on voucher but was reminded that I had received a text weeks prior stating I needed to be there 30 min earlier. By then I had forgotten this. My fault. New city, first time in Europe traveling alone; it was overwhelming and meeting point was not straightforward. In a nutshell, a lot of other tours will adjust, put you with another group, provide partial refund, or reschedule. They just said no and sent me on my way. At least I got the ticket and experienced the Colosseum myself.
