We met Nicole at the Chiesa Nuova and she gave us a fascinating walking tour through the banking centre of late medieval Rome, Via Giulia and over the Ponte Sisto to Trastevere. Seeing Raphael’s house was a highlight and it was a joy to listen to Nicole talking about the city she knows and loves.
The Villa Farnesina is a real jewel, with beautifully decorated rooms by Sodoma and the superb Raphael frescoes of Cupid and Psyche.
Nicole had even brought a book to show us where all the fruits came from and she told us about the various colours and pigments used.
Nicole was a friendly and engaging leader and the brilliant tour she gave us simply opened up the city for us. She even pointed out an excellent pizzeria for lunch.

Seeing the wonderful murals/ frescoes in the house of the richest man of his time was special. They are beautiful and forced us to read up about the myths before our visit.
Our guide, an art historian, was excellent and her explanations were enlightening and excellent. Her love for her subject shone through. We really enjoyed our tour which was our last before having to return home. It did not disappoint us. It was a lovely end to a wonderful visit to Rome.

We went to this tour to see the Raphael's frescoes. And we loved our tour and our guide Francesca. We met across the Tiber on "Old banks" street where the story starts. She told such a fascinating story, I think we spent the whole excursion with our mouths wide open. The villa itself is beautiful. I highly recommend the tour and especially Francesca as a guide

Working with Francesca and the guides that she recommended for many of my activities with a small group in Rome was the best investment I ever made. The level of knowledge and Rich stories supplemented the beautiful sites that we visited. I would give her and her fellow guides my highest recommendation and could not imagine using any other tour guides or company.
