On our way to Amsterdam you will pass by the countryside and windmills. Arriving in the Amsterdam area, we will stop at a typical Dutch cheese and wooden clog farm called 'Rembrandthoeve' located near the Amstel river. Entering the city you will see the Netherlands’ National Bank, the wellknown Heineken brewery, as well as The Painting Gallery, with the great Dutch masters such as Rembrandt and Van Gogh. From the Saint-Nicolas church you will enjoy a 20 minutes’ walk passing the neogothic Central Station reaching the royal palace on Dam Square. Here you will have free time to enjoy a boat tour or a walk along the ‘coffee’ shops, the Red-light district, etc.
On departure from the city, our route will take you through the picturesque houseboats and the replica ship of the East Indian company. You will then see the Jewish Museum and the Jewish Memorial monument as well as the famous Artis Zoo and the stunning Nemo, the Science Museum designed by world-famous architect Renzo Piano.

A great experience! Nonetheless, I didn't like the fact that there wasn't a working toilet in the bus as the journey was of about 3 hours

We were dropped off in Amsterdam with a meeting time of 5pm to return to Brussels. They don't show anything in the city. Each one on their own. I took the Hop On Hop Off bus and took a walk around the city, which takes 1 hour and 30 minutes and gives you a good view. My luck was that I didn't want to go back with the tour. I stayed in Amsterdam for another 3 days. One day is not enough. At the scheduled time to return, I picked up my bags and stayed there.

I loved the cheese and clogs farm, the farmer was so entertaining and we got to taste and buy some cheese, learn how the clogs are made.
We had 4 hours in Amsterdam to explore on our own, the map with main attraction points was very helpful.
I didn’t like that the group was very big and buss way too crowded, couldn’t find seats together although we arrived 10 minutes earlier.

This outing was fantastic. The guide Bruno and the driver Dave were just perfect. The guide Guillaume spoke 3 languages, he was very patient and cultured. I learned a lot about the history of Belgium, the Netherlands and Luxembourg.
The stopover at the farm was also enriching (wooden clogs and cheese)
I loved everything🥰😍😍😍

Five hours in Amsterdam felt like an hour. We had to rush to get through all the sites. There is a long walk from the motor-coach to the main area so be prepared for a long hike. Roxanna was a great tour guide.

3 days before the trip , we were told the meeting place is the old Office and not the street where the bus was parked.
Bruno was good alrhough it seems tge rest of the group were busy talking to each other and was not able to discipline their rowdy children; eating and drinking in the bus which was expressed by the tour guide as not allowed.
