We worked with David Walworth, an MIT educated Naval Architect and Principal Engineer known for his high-efficiency catamaran designs, to build the perfect boat for our trips from scratch.
Our amazing crew are closely trained by our Honest Eco Biologists. Crew training starts on land with research and mission alignment before moving onto the water where we hone our seamanship skills and work to become as effective as possible at delivering on our Purpose.

Amazing trip with HonestEco! Katie was our captain. Her and the crew took such great care of us.
In addition to hanging with dolphins for well over an hour and we got to do some phenomenal snorkeling!
Katie taught us about dolphins, the natural ecosystem and all the wildlife we saw while fishing!

Wow! What an incredible trip with Captain Katie. We found a sweet little group of dolphins taking a nap the first 30 mins into our trip and had a blast learning about the local area and ocean life - snorkeling and enjoying the breathtaking views. The crew was so knowledgeable, friendly and super attentive! We travel a lot, and it was one of the best boat tours we’ve EVER taken.

We had a great morning trip on board of this silent eco friendly catamaran.
Friendly and knowledgeable crew, who steered us right into dolphin territory .
We saw a group of 3 dolphins playing around the boat. What a beautiful sight!!
The snorkeling was from our point of view a little bit disappointing, because of the lack of diversity in fish species. But having that said, we were spoiled the day before, snorkeling at the John pennekamp park.
Overall conclusion….great trip!

First - we had scheduled a 2pm tour but there is a 6 person minimum for them to do a trip. Jen contacted us the day before to let us know we were the only 2 who had signed up and gave us the option to switch to the 9am tour. We switched times and had a great time. Our crew was fantastic!! Libby did a great job getting us to a sponge garden for snorkeling and was in communication with other companies to then find out where the dolphins were. They provided shorty wet suits (BONUS) because the water was still a little on the chilly side. Once done snorkeling we were able to find some dolphins to view. That was sooo cool. All during this time the other crew member, Brian, was giving us all kinds of education on the waters and life in them around key west. He had a lot of knowledge to share. He even found a lobster to bring up when we were snorkeling. I would definitely recommend supporting this educational, environmentally friendly company.

Had a wonderful time. The crew was very knowledgeable and able to answer our questions. It’s a very relaxed atmosphere on the boat and in the water. We liked the fact that it was not too crowded with passengers as some companies tend to do. The crew was in no rush to move us from one spot to another. They allowed us extra time to view the dolphins which swam all around the boat. Snorkeling was great. The crew got in the water with us and pointed out what to see. Snacks were good too. Would definitely do again.

Great tour! The message of Honest Eco was clearly conveyed through Captain Libby and Deckhand Brady (sorry if I'm miss-remembering that!). They were super knowledgeable and informative!
Wet suits were provided on the day we went (water was about 69 degrees, air was about 75). Saw quiet a few fish, but the highlight for me was the boat ride, sunbathing on the deck, and learning so much about Key West. Excellent fruit, veggies, and hummus to hold us over until returning to shore (staff had great recommendations on how to spend the rest of the day!).
I would absolutely use this company again. This definitely took the guilt out of invasive and pollution-driving tourism for me!

The crew was fantastic. They knew the ocean and the marine life and were able to answer our questions and provide facts. Enjoyed the calm atmosphere on the boat and in the water. Not too many people on board which you see with other boats. The crew took extra time for us to enjoy the dolphins and snorkeling. Will definitely book with them again. Snacks were good too.

The water was rough and the temperature was cool (for Key West) but we still had a great time! Our captain took us out for dolphin watching first, and we did see at least three, although not overly close to the boat. Then off to snorkeling - only 3 of the 8 of us actually went in, but my perception was that they were never hurried to get out, that they were able to snorkel for as long as they wanted. Then, back to the dolphin watching because some boats had reported that the dolphins were back, but not for us! Through the whole trip, the crew was extremely engaging and shared their love for the ocean and the creatures in it. The snacks that were provided were great. I would definitely recommend.

This trip was amazing. The boat is comfortable and perfect for enjoying the water. We got to see and learn about dolphins as well as other sea life and history of the keys! We got to swim even in the cooler water with the much appreciated wet suits. They were also very accommodating of our little ones. Snacks and service was top notch. Can’t say enough about Honest Eco! Plan to go again next trip to key west!
