The Golden Rooster deserves the GOLD!!! Ms. Anna was soooooo warm and welcoming. We just lived the small but quaint and comfy room. It was very comfortable and had just about everything that we could have expected. The location is just purrrrrfect and walkable to the markets.. Fortunately we were there on a Sunday and so we were advised to visit the night market. This was a wonderful experience.
The breakfast was adequately scrumptious and we thoroughly enjoyed it. An absolute value for money place.

The cruise was great, transfer from Hanoi to ha long bay was smooth, they packed it all in but not in a way that was rushed, and I felt like they really went all out to make my time in that magical place as special as they could. My only regret is that I didn’t go for longer.
