We start driving through the route of the vineyards of Crete. The villages we will cross are famous for the grape varieties and their wines and that is why there are many well-known wineries on our way.

The whole tour was wonderful. It was great seeing a remote area of Crete. Andreas was a fantastic guide, very personable, energetic, and knowledgeable. Definitely recommend this tour

It was cancelled 30 minutes after anticipating the coach pick up at my hotel.. I believe only after me reaching out to the driver. Driver indicated “the gorge was out”. I believe, I was the only passenger therefore the trip was not cost effective. When I asked if another local tour could be made available, I was told sorry, but no.

A hell of a day. Our pilot, Yanis, a rocker who shares his passion for rock with us. He is funny. In the monastery, they have a drink for 5 or 10€. It is a mixture of raki, honey and herb. A massacre.
Thank you all, especially Yanis and also Madame Pipi (who will recognize herself)
Our Natacha spoke French very well. Perfect.

Great tour! The tour guide Alex is really nice and tries hard. He knows a lot and can tell you a lot about Crete. The tour was a lot of fun and you get a good insight if you want to find out more about Crete. It is important to take adequate sun protection with you as it can get very hot in the gorge in August. My tip: long, light clothing and a hat.
