Enjoy a guided tour of one of England's most famous palaces & gardens but also home to the Churchill family and Duke of Marlborough. Our tour will describe the destiny of events which led to the creation of Blenheim palace. Its creation was no easy achievement- the main architect was even refused entry to see his completed work! However, it is open today for all to enjoy its sumptuous interior and its expansive gardens, lake house and maze.

Palace entry ticket worth £36 per person is included in your tour price. Guided tour duration is 90 minutes+.

Upon arrival at Blenheim palace, your guide will take you on a guided tour lasting approximately 90 minutes. You will then have free time to visit other parts of the palace and gardens on your own.

OPTION ALSO EXISTS TO SELECT TO ADD ON A 90 MINUTES PRIVATE WALKING TOUR OF OXFORD AT START OF THE TOUR FOR ADDITIONAL £100 FEE.

DISCLAIMER: during mid November to end December, the palace has a Christmas display that may obstruct state rooms

We had an outstanding tour with Peter and Rinata (guide -in -training) to Blenheim Palace and beyond. Peter was very knowledgeable about Blenheim and Oxford and was extremely thorough in his commentary. Blenheim history and architecture were just the start of his guidance. It was a very crowded May 26, but Peter navigation was excellent with bus transport, ticket arrangements, and managing to convey information, despite the numerous visitors. We appreciated his thoughtfulness in bringing us a delightful sweet treat. We had time for a cup of tea at Blenheim to go with it! We were given a beautiful book about Blenheim which we both will enjoy reading. Upon returning to Oxford, Peter was so generous with this time. He pointed out more interesting facts about Oxford, took us to the largest (and very fascinating) bookstore and encouraged us to attend Christ Church Evensong, which we did. It was a wonderful suggestion along with a delicious dinner in his recommended Italian restaurant. Our day with Peter was engaging, stimulating, and fun! We would highly recommend his private tour. Hats off to Alasdair and our tour guide, Mike! My friend and I had a fantastic time touring the idyllic pasturelands and historical sites of the Cotswolds thanks to our guide's cheery attitude and professionalism. Mike insights proved that it takes a local to truly know a place, and while we were distracted and wowed by the scenery, he ensured that we reached our destinations in a timely fashion and all together. Many thanks for making such a wonderful day possible! I highly recommend Visit Oxford Tours for your vacation excusion to the Cotswolds as well.

Excellent tour, superb tour guide-- knowledgeable, informative, and personable. Peter made an extra effort to provide a memorable tour of Blenheim Palace and grounds and the many sights of interest in Oxford. He was insightful while being entertaining. We were thankful that he supplied us with local treats throughout the day. He truly gave us a "locals tour". Highly recommend Oxford Walking Tour combined with Blenheim Palace and Grounds.

We had a great day on our e-bike tour of the Cotswolds with Cotswolds Bike Tours. Alasdair's colleague, Laura, toured us around to Roman ruins, manor ruins, picturesque villages, churches and a nice lunch spot. Laura had a lot of background information to share at our various stops, which was very educational. The bikes were in excellent condition -- very new. We highly recommend this tour!

I was sceptical initially about visiting another palace or castle in Britain.

However, after the visit to Blenheim Palace I have second thoughts now. My wife and I both have Peter our guide to thank. He was not only most knowledgeable of the tour but he went way beyond the norm by making our trip most meaningful and memorable one although this is already the 4th palace/castle we have visited in UK since our arrival in September.

Peter was well prepared for the tour and made it simple and most interesting. He even carried an umbrella in the event it rain which it did at the end of the tour. On top of that at the end of the visit, Peter also kindly arranged tea for us and some English goodies to sample in the form of chocolate caramel shortcake and also oatmeal and raisin biscuits at the garden terrace of Bleiheim Palace. It allowed us to truly appreciate the magnificient view of this ?estate.

At the end of the paid tour Peter in his own time gave us a quick introduction and run around Oxford so that it will be easier for us when we do our cycle and walking tour of Oxford the next day.

Tqvm, Peter you had made a real difference!! Cheers

It was a pleasure to have Peter as our guide. His enthusiasm and knowledge of the Churchills and all things British made our visit an afternoon my husband and I will never forget. He politely answered all our questions. At the end of the tour, we sat down and he served us tea and cookies while we had a most interesting discussion on British writers, movies, and other tours we might be interested in taking in the future.

Good tour of Blenheim palace. Tour guide Mr Michiel Van Hout was great. Highly recommended. Only audio guide being allowed inside the palace - is bit irritating, however it was over come by Michiel discreetly.
