Our tour includes entry into CS Lewis's college called Magdalen college worth £9.50 per person plus as and when open, we also see inside Tolkien's college called Exeter, worth £3 per person..
This tour focuses on the Inklings' Oxford but also introduces the city history + university life. See inspiring sights relating to CS Lewis & JRR Tolkien on a 2 hour plus tour of the sights where they worked & relaxed, including the pubs they enjoyed. Locations visited include Magdalene or Merton college plus where and when open, we also visit Exeter college.
Various start times are offered by time of year.

What a beautiful experience- our tour guide Ray was fantastic! We walked the historical steps and learned about the intertwined journeys of both Lewis and Tolkien, and saw Oxford, an amazing must-see place, as part of the process. The tour was meaningful and fun!!! Thank you!

Tom gave us a great, in-depth tour of Oxford, specifically related to C.S. Lewis, J.R.R. Tolkien, and their friends, known collectively as The Inklings. Tom really knew his stuff and tailored the tour to our interests. The time just flew by and I got a lot of steps in, too. Thanks, Tom!

Ray was absolutely lovely, very personable. At the start of the tour, he asked us what we were wanting to focus on most and did all he could to ensure he met that goal. He also enthusiastically shared about new things he was learning about individuals related to Oxford University. Ray did a wonderful job of enthusiastically telling us about Tolkien and Lewis and their respective stories. He also pointed out sites related to Alice in Wonderland, My Fair Lady, The Wind and The Willows, TS Elliot, Wycliffe, and Tyndale. We left inspired and full of wonder.

This was a great trip! Tom was extremely knowledgeable and since it was just me, he tailored the trip and sights for what I wanted, which was awesome. Highly recommended for any Lewis and/or Tolkien fan.

Our guide Harvey was warm and knowledgeable. We visited beautiful places and he noted where our favorite authors had lived or taught. We learned so much about Oxford and how the education system works, which was unfamiliar to us.

Our Inklings tour led by Tom M. was everything we were hoping for and more. Tom is an expert in the subject, in Oxford University generally, and is a genuinely kind and interested man. Those with a special place for Lewis and Tolkien in there hearts will find this guided tour well worth it.
