We took the private sailing boat at 6am. You will be alone on the lake….Very nice experience, specially thanks to Zazil and Clara! The breakfast is very generous!

We had an incredible tour with Zaci and Vicky, everything was smooth and we had plenty of time for swimming and the breakfast was fantastic. Probably the best trip we took during our 2 weeks in Mexico!

Leo & Maria took my wife and I on a relaxing. Enjoyable morning sunrise sailing cruise. We took our two dogs and they loved the sailing too. Leo provided great information about the lagoon and he and Maria were excellent at sailing. Highly recommend.

We did this tour our first morning in Bacalar and it was so magical to see the lagoon come to life as the sun rose. We arrived in Bacalar late the evening before, so our first glimpse of the lagoon was from the boat!
Leandro and Cami, the sailing crew, were such lovely people! They were friendly, warm and lovely! We felt like we were hanging out with two friends (it was just my husband, me, Cami and Lean!). They were passionate about conserving this jewel of a place and gave us so many ideas for the rest of our trip.
We had coffee and breakfast at Bird Island, then went to the black cenote, then swam at the Canal de Pirates. It was WONDERFUL!
Quick PSA for future tourists: the lagoon ecosystem is disrupted by ANY sunscreen (even reef safe) so bring some UPF clothes with you to protect your skin. We did not get burned this early in the day so it was great. Do your part to keep the ecosystem, color and clarity of the water healthy :)

Excellent walk… Leandro and María very friendly and helpful, they took us to super beautiful places in the lagoon… incredible experience, the fruit and tea they prepared for us were very delicious… the spot they chose to see the sunrise was very nice
