That was an amazing trip. Everything was beyond my expectations. We had two tastings (wine and honey), visited some cool places, took a lot of photos.
We are very satisfied. George is one of the best guides in my life, extra thanks to him and our driver David.

There was written that the last point is on the foot of Kazbek. It was not, there was at least 2 mountains between us. The last stop promised to be 30 min but for u s it was 20. The schedule of the tour was strange the lunch was 1,5 h. The food is good in Georgia but in our table it was cold and not so good as usually. The views on the road were often beautiful. The guide knew lot about history but he was some times very rude and angry. The tour was poor but some views were beautiful and all together 3.

This is one of the most unprofessional tour company I have come across in my international tours so far for so many reasons:
1) We missed our pickup point owing to a small
misunderstanding and then contacted by the tour operator who asked us to join at the next pick up point. When we reached there and called the driver, no response at all from the driver.
2) Then the admin calls again and ask us to go to Opera House pickup point and promised the driver will pick us up from there. We took taxi and reached there, only to be told by the driver that Coach is full and they already left the spot. The admin calls and says we must go to another pickup point which is 70km away from city!!!! This is the level of professionalism.
3) I admitted to my mistake of missing the first pickup point and requested the tour operator if we can do the the trip next day. And as a gesture of goodwill for my mistake of missing the first pickup point where they had to wait for 10 minutes, I offered 50 GEL extra if they arranged it for next day. The company agreed and asked us to come the next day. When we reached the pick up point, the driver demanded that we pay another 200 GEL to go with the trip!!! Pure nonsense and extortion. I finally negotiated it to 180 GEL and travelled - imagine having to pay twice for one trip while my previous day seats were sold to others and company made money there too!!
4) Once in the trip, the guide seemed knowledgeable and friendly. However, many requests by tourists to stop for 5 minutes to play in the snow was not allowed owing to “future anticipated traffic jam” while they had all the time to stop and waste at their “much needed” pit stops where they could sell products in the name of “tasting”.
5) Our kids were playing in the minivan with empty water bottles while all passengers were outside “tasting” and “buying the products” and driver comes and shouts at the kids in a manner one would only call the “most rude” behavior. If it was any other EU country, he could have been arrested!!
If you are in Georgia and want to explore the beautiful country, use another operator and not USHBA TOURS.

My wife and I had a bad experience with this tour because although it has a very different title, the tour was exactly similar with a tour entilled "Highlight of Caucasus Mountains" because the former has made the same site visits as the latter tour which I took the day before.
