Got off to a bit of a late start due to a mechanical issue with the van but it turned out to be a lovely day. Peter and George were excellent guides and led us all in a sing along as we traveled. I could’ve stayed longer at Culzean, I like to wander, but for most the stops gave ample time. Great tour for the price!

Loved this trip through Ayershire with Nicola. She took us from ancient ruins to Victorian glamour at Calzean, and the iconic Rabbie Burns cottage and museum, with history and stories, and an excellent music playlist. Nicola was attentive and helpful. Lovely day! 🩵

Walking the shoreline at Culzean was just beautiful- as was the castle and grounds. Incredible trees. Loved visiting the Robert Burns birthplace, the famous church, monument and gardens, and the perfect brig O' Doon. Tour guide was very informative and personable. Even helped us find a place to have a toast to the poet!

FYI, the admission to the castle is not covered in the cost, but it is beautiful. Swan pond has no swans, and is a very long walk! The walled garden is gorgeous, Robbie Burns is interesting. Our guide was average, not very interactive.

Gary, our guide did an outstanding job of bringing the sites to life. The music he chose to accompany and provide background to our visits was also a perfect match. So glad I took this tour!

Reasons to do this tour:

- You will visit an extremely well-maintained castle with lots of paths, beach access, a huge garden that in public transportation will take 4h30 min.
-You will visit attractions that only LOCALS visit.
- You will learn about Robert Burns story and see the Brig O'doon, a super cute bridge.
- You can see a Scottish-style castle Dunure Castle
-If you get assigned to a guide like Graham, you will have an amazing time, he will read you, poems from Robert Burns like a poet, and will learn a lot of Scottish history.
- You wiull have a different day.

If you have a free day in Glasgow, I will spend fewer days on crowded attractions in Edinburgh and do this tour, which offers amazing value for money
