Excellent trip with the only downside being the timing. Chania was a beautiful place but I had heard from today's tour guide and another I went on about a traditional lamb dish to try when we get to the lake (Antichiristo is the pronunciation but not the spelling) this was indeed excellent. One of the best things I tasted in Crete but the 90 minutes is not enough time to enjoy the food and the lake properly. It's one or the other wich is a shame because the food was good but the lake is stunning and I'd have loved to take a boat out too.

The location was beautiful and the scenery just breathtaking. The driver and the tour guide were fab….would definitely go again especially if we had those two

Went by bus to chania, guide was very knowledgeable and told us information about what we were passing. When we got there we were given 3 hours to site see. Then went onto lake kournas which was beautiful. You could go out in a pedalo or have something to eat in one of the taverns at the side of the lake.
