The experience was a complete success. Our driver picked us up in London and drove us to Oxford where he gave us a private tour of the “highlights.” He even got us into a college that wasn’t technically open for tours. Footprints kept us informed in advance of what to expect and was very responsible in answering all of our questions. The tour guide/driver was a lovely young Oxford graduate who was, in addition to being a knowledgeable guide, extremely good company.

One can have gone on many a college tour before, but none are like Oxford’s historic colleges’ tour. Greta masterfully guided us through the 1,000 year histories of the buildings, the traditions, and the student life here at Oxford. She possesses a great tact and empathy as well that aided all on our tour at different points, which makes her one of the best.

Wonderful tour of multiple colleges throughout Oxford! Freya was a fantastic tour guide and offered many insights into what it’s like being a student here, including traditions, shenanigans, and history. Loved it!
(We also booked the official 30-min Bodleian library tour, and there was virtually no cross-over, just in case you’re worried about doubling up.)

This was a very informative and enjoyable tour. We were able to see and learn about the different colleges without feeling rushed. I don't think we would have appreciated Oxford as much had we toured it on our own or done a shorter tour. The tour guides are also great because they are students who are able to share interesting things about student culture, past and current.

Amazing tour! Our guide was Freya and she was really good. The information she gave was so clear and so interesting. My 10-year-old was able to stay focus till the end. Wonderful tour all in all.

Really great tour of Oxford with a super knowledgeable and fun guide. I would highly recommend. Our kids ages span from 9 to 17 and they all enjoyed it equally. Susie was particularly friendly and a wonderful guide. We learned about the history as well as the funny, insider stories. Time well spent.
