A local, permitted guide will show you all of the highlights of Acadia National Park plus the famous fjord Somes Sound, the Asticou Gardens and go to an authentic lobster pound (where lobstermen bring their daily catch) for lunch!
We will pick you up and we’ll drive along the stunning 27-mile long Park Loop Road up to the summit of Cadillac Mountain. From Cadillac summit you can see spectacular views of Bar Harbor and the surrounding islands.
See all of the famous sites on the Park Loop Road, including summit of Cadillac Mountain, Rockefeller’s stone bridges, Otter Cliffs, Thunder Hole, and Sieur du Monts Gardens and Nature Center.
We will continue on to see the summer colonies of the rich and famous. Drive along the fjord, Somes Sound. Finish in Southwest Harbor to have lunch at an authentic lobster pound while looking over Great Harbor Marina.
We can stop and stay as long as you would like at each location. We will point out trailheads and carriage roads to explore on your own.

What a great tour! Our guide Pete was incredible and helped us fall in love with Maine and Acadia NP so quickly. We got to see all the highlights and some “off the beaten path” spots that we would have never discovered on our own. Pete even helped us out with some local restaurant suggestions and other activities to help us round out and finish our week in Bar Harbor/Acadia.
We did this tour on our first day in Acadia and it was truly the best way to start the week and helped us have the absolute best trip.
Communication was great leading up to the tour, pickup was timely, the lunch stop was amazing, and the tour was overall a 10/10! Highly recommend.

We had an amazing time with our guide Bill T.!!! He was on time and had a cooler packed with waters and blueberry sodas that our kids loved. He knew a LOT about the history of the area and park. Plus lots of information about native animals and plants. He was patient and flexible. We really enjoyed our tour and felt totally comfortable with Bill. He also took us to an awesome place for lunch where we had the best lobster we’ve ever eaten! We’ve taken tours all over and my husband declared this one “the best tour he’s been on!” Thanks again Bill for an amazing day in Maine!

This tour was fantastic. We were able to see the highlights of Acadia Park along with other areas of Mount Desert Island that we may not have seen. Pete, our guide, was so knowledgeable. He was able to answer all of our questions and gave us tips about other things to do in the area. He also was able to give us more information on some of the activities that we already had done.

Pete was very knowledgeable of the park and too us to see some great things, some that everyone sees and some that very few people see. Also, he was very accommodating to our group. Lobster lunch was fantatstic, strongly recommend booking a private tour with At Your Service and requesting Pete!
