Tulum Ruins with Cenote and Swimming with Turtles from Cancun

To start, I got a message from this tour company that they don’t do Cancún pickup on Thursdays. When I booked, it wasn’t mentioned and able to book for Thursday. Couple days before the tour, I was informed to change the date and had to change to Wednesday. Tuesday, we did Chichén Itzá and going on Tulum next day was already tiring. I wasn’t happy that I had to change the date. On Wednesday, we got picked up at our hotel at 7:10 and we were told that we are getting off. Took us to this mall and informed us to go to Starbucks to meet the travel agent.
I wasn’t happy about this and waited a long line. Past 8:20, we were checked in, we were told to go back to parking lot and wait for the bus. Very small bus arrived to pick us up and we couldn’t even sit together as a family. We were packed like sardines and traveled to Tulum with this tiny bus. Tour guide got picked up along the way so during this whole time, we only had bus driver. What a disappointment from start.
Tulum was extremely hot and our guide was knowledgeable. He made things better. Akumal beach was awesome! Got to see many turtles and swam along side with them.
Except for the unexpected chnages and small van, we liked this tour. Definitely recommend the turtle swim!

Our favorite day so far on the trip! Everything ran on time and Herlan did a wonderful job making it a very personal experience and sharing the Mayan culture with us. Herlan and Miguel checked ahead to see if Akumal was busy and asked if we wanted to swap schedule to make the most of our turtle swim. This was followed by a very insightful tour of Tulum and then a swim in a local cenote, where we felt like we were the only ones in the place. Would 100% do the tour again and appreciated the personalized attention and effort put into the tour by both Herlan and Miguel.

The locations/ sites we visited were great! However the group at the beginning (Mayan ruins) was very large and the tour all together was super rushed.
Food was great. Information from the guide at the Mayan ruins was great too

We had Herlan from Cancun Bay tours and he was amazing! he made our whole experience and was incredible!! Would 100% do the tour again because of him. He made it a very personalized experience, shared his culture, and was the highlight of our girl's trip to Mexico. Would go back to be with Herlan!

My girlfriend and I came in from Chicago and took this tour with Obet and Herlan. I’ll be honest, we were a little nervous about the random online booking but couldn’t have been happier with our decision. Both guides were super awesome! I can’t say enough about how friendly and knowledgeable these guys were. I would highly recommend this tour to anyone. The ruins and cenote were beautiful, but snorkeling with the sea turtles was the highlight of my trip to Mexico. Thanks again to Obet and Herlan for a fabulous experience!

The guide was excellent! Very knowledgeable and helpful! I was very hot but what do you expect when your in the sun in Mexico. I would very much recommend for anyone who loves to learn about history and see wonderful wildlife (not just turtles but lots of beautiful fish also)swimming in natural habitat!!

The combination of Mayan Ruins, ocean swim with sea turtles and cenote swim was amazing. Oscar was a great guide that made the excursion extra special. The guided Cenote swim was my favorite part to this spectacular sampler of what is offered in and around Playa Del Carmen.
