This is a winter tour so only the northern entrance to the park is open. You will see abundant wildlife, hot springs, snow covered mountains, and beautiful vistas all along the way. WHAT TO EXPECT

1. Paradise Valley
Paradise Valley is a major river valley of the Yellowstone River in southwestern Montana just north of Yellowstone National Park in Park County, Montana. The valley is flanked by the Absaroka Range on the east and the Gallatin Range on the west. Thomas Wolfe described the expansive valley as "nude spaciousness" when he drove through on a western trip. The Yellowstone River flows through the valley and is noted for world-class fly fishing in the river and nearby spring creeks such as DePuy Spring Creek. The valley hosts other natural wonders such as several natural hot springs, including Chico Hot Springs near Emigrant, Montana, La Duke Hot Springs near Gardiner, and Hunter's Hot Springs near Livingston. Mount Cowen is the largest peak near the valley, at 11,212 feet (3,417 m) in elevation. It is located in the southern portion of the valley on the eastern side of the river within the Absaroka mountain range.
2. Yankee Jim Canyon
Yankee Jim Canyon is a short, narrow canyon on the Yellowstone River about 13 miles north of Yellowstone Park. The canyon has the largest rapids on the Yellowstone River outside of the Park (boating on the Yellowstone River is banned in Yellowstone Park). Yankee Jim Canyon is less than five miles long and the whitewater rapids.
3. Gardiner
The original entrance to Yellowstone. Home to Roosevelt Arch.
4. Mammoth Hot Springs
Geology Construction Buildings Recreation Mammoth Hot Springs are a surficial expression of the deep volcanic forces at work in Yellowstone. Although these springs lie outside the caldera boundary, their energy is attributed to the same magmatic system that fuels other Yellowstone thermal areas.
5. Undine Falls
See one of the most scenic waterfalls in the north portions of Yellowstone NP. This waterfall is often frozen over in the winter providing a spectacular scene with the river still flowing behind the waterfall
6. Slough Creek
This stop provides a view of the beginning of Lamar Valley with a high probability of seeing wildlife during the winter months.

Our tour guide, Jason, was amazing! He was so knowledgeable about the park, animals, history, etc. Definitely having the private, one on one, experience is the way to go. We can’t wait to come back to do another part of the park.

Mimi was very knowledgeable, kind, accommodating and much more. She knew all the hot spots to see wildlife. I’m glad I scheduled a tour before this one on the west entrance, otherwise I wouldn’t have seen Old Faithful.

Our Tour of Yellowstone could not have been scripted any better! Our Guide Mimi was personable, highly knowledgeable of the park, animals and history of the area. She anticipated all our needs and had delicious snacks and drinks waiting for us. We were able to view all the game and animals in the park, some multiple times! We Highly recommend this tour and Mimi!!

Such a fun and intimate excursion. We loved getting to see so much wildlife and having commentary from our guide. Would definitely recommend. The lunch provided wasn’t amazing… but it was fine. Other than that, definitely recommend.

This tour is an absolute must do!! The minute we got into Mimi’s truck I knew it would be a badass experience. Mimi was absolutely amazing, so knowledgeable- knew every answer to every question we asked & was so easy to talk to. She made it feel like we had all known each other forever. I know if my boyfriend & I did this drive alone we wouldn’t have seen half the animals we did, she knew where to look for everything. Only thing we were unable to see was wolves. She even gave us pointers on where to hike & recommended we go into the park for star gazing which we plan on doing before we leave. Again, a must do & you should request Mimi because she will not disappoint!!

Let me just start with saying Miriam was more than wonderful !! Her knowledge of Montana, not just the Yellowstone, was incredible!! I learned a lot of stuff which I did not know prior to this trip. I’ve been to Yellowstone one time before but not with the tour guide. Miriam made sure she brought us sandwiches, water, and snacks. She drove so carefully because it was snowing, which made us feel safe. When we got to the park, we were able to see bison, elk, moose, antelopes, a bear, and big horn sheep. I would recommend Miriam to anyone going to the Yellowstone.
