Immerse yourself in a truly French art-de-vivre with an unique olfactory journey to the Fragonard Perfume Museum in Paris, located right next door to the Opera Garnier. The perfect opportunity to discover a unique collection of ancient fragrance bottles. Immersed in a Second Empire atmosphere, visitors traverse three thousand years of history : Know-how of Grasse, vanished raw materials, ancient fragrant objects, the museum is a perfumer’s laboratory with rare and precious bottles from the Pharaohs to Fabergé as witnesses of social and cultural habits.
After the visit of 20 minutes, we invite you for a moment of sensory and olfactory memory development with the explanation of the olfactory pyramid, the recognition of 3 blended compositions that enter into the Flower of the Year eau de toilette. During the visit, you will create and customize, following the advices of our teacher, your own Eau de Toilette (12 ml in a spray).

Visited with my two daughters and my 10 year old granddaughter and we had a great time. The make your own perfume workshop is pretty basic but we had a lot of fun mixing the different notes and comparing our resulting fragrances with each other. The workshop was followed by a very interesting tour of the museum and history of perfume and then we were in the shop where we got to smell a bunch of Fragonard fragrances and purchase some if we desired. Of course we desired! The fragrance I chose to purchase smells so good and honestly lasts way longer than perfumes usually do on me!

This was one of my granddaughter's favorite activities in Paris. Well worth the time and price!

This is Not a perfume making class. We did Not make perfume. The title is misleading. The guided tour is by scanning a QR code and listening on your own phone. After the tour there was a smelling session of the most populair perfumes of the house (the clerck that helped is was amazing). The goal was to sell perfumes to the costumers. Later we found out that the QR coded tour was for free as well as the smelling session. So actually we paid for nothing.

This was a great experience with older kids and a larger group. The guide spoke amazing English and was kind and helpful. We got to take home a small container of our perfume and had an option to get more in the gift shop.

Learned about perfume making and definition of perfume. Then made our own perfume…making our own decisions on what scent we preferred. Just right amount of time to learn and create. So much fun!

We had a great time, the Guide was very informative. Beautiful location and it was a fun activity to created a mini perfume. For the price we’ll work it!

The only issue we had was we had our luggage on us and I had tried to find the information on here if we was able to leave it with them but there was no information. My sister is pregnant and they wouldn’t let us leave them downstairs! So we had to lug our cases up and down.

Factory was easy to find and close to public transit, I recommend doing this and then going to visit the opera house as they are across the street. We arrived then were brought upstairs to make the perfume, then given a short tour on the history of perfume, then let out in the store. Entire experience took 45 minutes and it was very unique to Paris.
