My wife and I were to go on a moonlight ride, but early monsoons prevented that. Wild Western Horseback Adventures was quick to call me back and set up a new time on another day. The trail guide was amazing. He led us through the Verde River and a variety of scenery. He was sensitive to my wife's needs (her knees are problematic) by providing a ramp to mount the horse on. Yet they allowed us to enjoy galloping the horses when we showed interest and experience. He also explained the history of the area, and we enjoyed a beautiful sunset. We finished the ride by going through the Alcantera Vineyards. We would highly recommend Wild Western Horseback Adventures for your next horseback adventure for any family.

I took my wife on this trip and we had one of the best days of our lives together. Here we started with the horseback then we went to go to out of the wild zoo and then we went up to Jerome the guide that we had with us, his name was keys. He was the most incredible man, and we truly enjoyed his company with us. He made us feel very comfortable and I am wishing him the best and will be looking forward to hopefully seeing him again soon 10 out of 10 stars.

Thank you so much to Kyle and family for being so friendly and patient with my 10 year old son. This was his first time on horseback and he really enjoyed himself very much!! I was really nervous about this, but I worried for nothing! Beautiful and sweet horses, my son road “Puddles”. Also we had fun at the ranch with all of the horses and other animals plus the cutest puppy ever, puddin’. Thank you again for being so patient and kind with the most cautious kid I know. My son and I totally enjoyed the experience and give them 5 stars for this experience being well worth the money! We have great memories now. Thanks again!

I went with my daughter since we both love horseback riding and we always make sure we go on one trip on every vacation. We have been to over 10 different horseback trips in different countries and states. And I will tell you this is in our top 3. Our guide (Kyle? I think i'm really bad with names) was super kind, super funny, super understanding and always made sure we were okay. We got lucky it was just him, me and my daughter so we were able to gallop and more. I am definitely going to recommend this place to anyone I know. Not only was the scenery amazing, we also got a few facts here and there. No matter what, this is the place for horseback rides. Thank you so much for letting us create awesome memories!

Nice ride and I loved the fact they are a horse rescue. Our guide John was super nice. A second guide (an older gentleman that I did not catch his name) showed up as our original guide was getting the horses prepared. He yelled at at belittled John in front of the tour group. That I didn’t appreciate at all. When John asked for help he snapped at him. John took it in stride and remained professional. I don’t thing it’s good business making customers feel awkward. The ride itself was fine.

My husband and I booked this as an activity during our trip to Arizona. Besides a little hiccup the day of the tour, (I was texted the wrong address from booking the morning of the trip, but we only had to wait about a half-hour for the wrangler to arrive at our location) we both have nothing negative to say! Our guide John was very charismatic and had lots of good stories to tell. My husband and I were the only ones in our tour which was nice! The route we took had beautiful views. You get a little riding demo beforehand which was nice for my husband as he's never ridden before. The horses are mild-mannered and easy to ride though. Would definitely come back again if we ever visit Arizona again. Thanks very much to our guide John for making this a memorable experience!

Brian “The Cajun Cowboy” was a very competent leader. He made sure my Mom felt comfortable after a bad experience a few years ago. He gave her back the confidence she needed to feel comfortable on a horse again.
Getting to go across a river was fun. The part going through the winery was beautiful.
Remember to read the instructions on what to wear!
