I had a great tour experience with Hidden Angkor Tours, most especially because of my guide, Sothoun. Sothoun took great care in making sure I understood the history of each of the temples and the significance of the many carvings, statues and architecture. Our driver, Mr. Lee provided us with safe passage, as well as cold towels and bottled water.
I strongly suggest you request Sothoun as your guide. You won’t be disappointed.

We did the Sunrise Private Angkor Tour. Lion, our tour guide, was amazing! I’ve been on a couple tours this trip and this was BY FAR the most incredible. First of all, wow, the locations were gorgeous! All the temples included on this tour are a perfect overview day. But what made it even more amazing was how knowledgeable, enthusiastic and informative Lion is. He took us through very interesting aspects of the temples I would never have noticed, or been able to appreciate without his explanations. He kept me engaged and amazed. The car service was wonderful and he was very accommodating. I would recommend this tour and Lion to anyone and everyone! Thank you so much Lion and Hidden Angkor Tour!

Brilliant day trip to Angkor temples.
Was blown away by our tour with Hidden Angkor Tour today. We visited a handful of temples including Angkor Wat at sunrise and our tour guide Thavin knew exactly how to make this experience special for us. He was very knowledgeable, charismatic and spoke perfect English, and took us on all the best paths throughout the tour to avoid crowds while still sightseeing and learning greatly. Hidden Angkor Tour organized all my private tours with a driver and guide. I had the best time. Great driver and guide. No rushing of the tour just went at my pace. They took great photos for me. Very polite and have a sense of humor. Had many laughs. They provided me with water, Soo good to hop in an air-conditioned vehicle after walking around the temples in the heat. They take us to a great restaurants for lunch. Food was amazing. I would definitely recommend them for any tours especially private tours. Thank you Theavy at Hidden Angkor Tour. Today we had a private tour with Hidden Angkor Tour for both the sunrise viewing at Angkor Wat followed by a tour of several other temples including Angkor Thom, Bayon, and the "Tomb-Raider" Temple to name a few. Out driver Vandy, and tour guide Veasna were absolutely exceptional. Veasna's knowledge of the area and temple history is incredible. Not only this but he also was incredibly patient and happy to educate us on the Buddhist religion and other traditional Cambodian history. An absolutely wonderful day and I could not recommend it any higher.

Well-organized tour itinerary by Hidden Angkor Tour. Our day trip was great! Our guide Buntheun and the driver Sophan were professional and very accommodating. A particular highlight was Buntheun’s passion and knowledge about each location and his humour that added to the experience.
It can get a bit hot during the day, however Buntheun and Sophan are happy to spend as long or as little time at each temple location. Every time you get back to the car you are welcomed with a cold refresher towel and aircon to help conquer the heat.
I would highly recommend touring with them.

Just finished a day tour with tour guide Vutha here in Siem Reap, and he is probably the best tour guide anyone could find in Cambodia! He brought us to every temple imaginable and avoided all the crowds with his impeccable timing. Surprisingly, compared to most tour guides, Vutha helps in taking excellent photos. He is incredibly knowledgeable and so kind. Like everyone else mentioned, being in his air-conditioned car with free water and cold towels is a life saver in this Cambodian heat. Would definitely recommend Vutha and Hidden Angkor Tour to anyone looking for a guide in Siem Reap! Thank you Vutha!

I had an amazing experience with Hidden Angkor Tours!! My two friends and I were trying to book a tour for Angkor Wat the night before and Hidden Angkor tours were very quick to respond. We were scheduled to be picked up from our hotel the next day at 4:45a to see the sunrise. Very smooth process! We ended up in a huge AC Van for just the three of us that provided free water and cold towels in between stops. Our guide Veasna was absolutely the best tour guide we could have asked for. He was extremely informative, friendly, and charismatic and made sure that we really knew the history behind what we were seeing (and all the best picture spots!! :) He took us to certain temples at specific times to try and avoid the crowds which we greatly appreciated! Overall the tour felt very personalized with the highest professionalism in both our driver and our guide. 10/10 would recommend!

Myself, my wife and two of my friends (Couple) booked this tour yesterday after travelling into Siem Reap from Singapore. We were overwhelmed by the number of different tours available for Angkor Wat, but we spent some time and did our research, leading to this private day tour.
Stop reading this right now and book, you will have one of the highlight tours of your life if you get Mr Vutha who works for this tour company (Hidden Angkor Tour). If you still want more info, then read on...
We opted for the sunrise start at 5.30am (I recommend as you get an amazing sunrise over Angkor Wat and miss the crowds).
We were greeted by Mr. Vutha in our hotel and then the driver in an air conditioned Van, very comfortable.
We then drove to pick up the pass for getting in to all of the temples, this is mandatory, and it costs $37 USD per person.
Then we drove to the first of four temples, Angkor Wat. The largest temple of all. From here we were lead through a journey of history of the Khmer people, the religious changes of Cambodia and more. Mr.Vutha had obviously done outside reading as I overheard other guides and the content and style of delivery was not on the same playing field as him. He would stop at points over the course of the tour and tell a story which relevance to carvings, towers, design, materials, you name it! All of his stories were utterly captivating and gave the location it's true value. His knowledge was very extensive.
He was also a brilliant photographer taking shots of me and my friends at many spots he called his "top 10".
Temples included:
Angkor Wat
Banteay Srei
Ta Prohm temple (of Tomb Raider fame)
Angkor Thom (Bayon Temple)
We also had a lunch stop (lunch not included in tour price) which was perfectly timed, plenty of bottles of cold water and face clothes to cool ourselves down every time we went into the Van which drove between the locations (too far to walk between).
It is not an overstatement in saying that Mr.Vutha is a phenomenal guide, I have been on many tours from mainland Europe to Asia and this is the best yet.
No conflict of interest here, just a happy customer.

So to start, I’m a solo traveler looking to get as much of Angkor Wat as I can in one day, and have zero background understanding of Khmer culture, Hinduism, or Buddhism. Despite that, I’m also very inquisitive and know I’ll ask a lot of questions. Hidden Angkor tours covered everything and helped me make the most of my visit.
Mr. Vutha met me at my hotel in the morning and over the course of 8 hours displayed a deep understanding of not only the facts of the splendid wonder that is Angkor Wat, but his own insights and observations about what was most beautiful about each temple. I never managed to think of a question he couldn’t answer, and I tried.
Furthermore he is a wizard with a camera, pointing out great angles (make sure to ask for his Top 10) and taking photos when I wanted to be in one for a change (traveling alone, there aren’t many opportunities). On top of that, the lunch spot he recommended was fantastic.
If you’re planning to spend any time in Siem Reap (and you should), you must see Angkor Wat. If you are seeing Angkor Wat (and you should), go with Hidden Angkor tours. And if you want a charming guide who is clearly passionate about the subject matter, request Mr. Vutha. He was truly excellent.
Quick logistical point: schedule the tour by emailing them directly so you can get the special rate- not through any online booking portal. I emailed them the night before and they were able to coordinate it without issue.
