Start at the traditional village of Mochos with its narrow alleys and colourful gardens, then continue to Krasi and visit the 2,400-year-old Writers' Plane Tree. Afterwards, the tour will ascend to the Diktaion Andron, an ancient cave believed to be the birthplace of Zeus. Take in the incredible view of the Lasithi Plateau. Next, visit the Knosos Palace, where Zeus’s son Minos intertwined his name with the oldest civilization in Europe. Optionally, you can also visit the Heraklion Archaeological Museum. Whenever you feel like it you can have lunch at a restaurant of your choosing.

Kostas is an experienced guide! He’s very responsive in his communications prior to the tour and is extremely flexible and helpful when figuring out the tour and the logistics of meeting up.
He’s knowledgeable about the island and its history, and best of all, he’s intent on making your time with him relaxing and informative. The motor coach is spacious and comfortable, and Kostas’ English is impeccable.
Visitors should know that he cannot accompany you into the archeological sites, as only licensed guides are permitted to provide tours within those locations - which is different from our experience in other countries. Aside from that, he can provide you with a fact-filled tour, and a relaxing day on Crete.
