Wine & Cheese is a tasting for those who want to approach the world of regional cuisine and at the same time visiting some of the most beautiful monumental areas of the old city. The tasting is conducted by our Wine Expert guide and includes a brief guided walk of about 30-45 minutes to admire some of the most interesting monumental sites of the city (about 1 km), up until reaching a renowned wine Bar in a sophisticated environment, where you will be waited in order to start the joint tasting, served with elegant cutlery and glasses, of five types of excellent quality Sicilian cheese, from the freshest to the most aged, almond cookies and six important wines representative of the main local varieties, such as Nero d’Avola and Catarratto, and a dessert wine. The Sicilian wine, of secular tradition, has won over in recent decades the markets all over the world and the dairy Sicilian tradition is one of the oldest and most appreciated in Italy.

Giorgio was superb. Despite some confusion about the meetup time, the actual experience was outstanding—one of the best we have done. He is extremely knowledgeable, passionate about the subject and personable. The venue was quite nice and the selection of wine and cheeses did not disappoint. I learned a lot.

All in all amazing experience. Giorgio has a wonderful way of explaining origin stories of Sicilian wines and tying them together with the culture.

We were taken to Enoteca Buonivini in Palermo, such an amazing place, the outdoor space is fabulous
Our guide Geogio has a great passion for wine and we enjoyed our wine journey around Scicily, accompanied by Sicilian cheese.
This place also has a cucina so we decided to eat here as well, we were not let down. The food the staff were 1st class
