Taormina and Savoca tour is one of the most exciting Sicily day tours from Messina (port or city center) in particular for the lovers of the Godfather.
From the departing point, we will reach the ancient town of Savoca Sicily, a wonderful medieval village, named one of the most beautiful villages in Italy.
You will start a little Savoca tour, following the footsteps of the Godfather movie by F.F. Coppola, to whom a statue is dedicated in the panoramic square of the village. Giulia was an amazing tour guide! Throughout all the walking tours, and even our long ride to our destinations, she shared very interesting historical facts, cultural information and local legends. Even though the tour is titled “the Godfather tour,” that is just a small part of the information that is shared. I highly recommend this to anyone wanting to get a close look at what on the island is really like. The walk through Savoca was awesome. The most beautiful city, the best movie (The Godfather) trivia, and even time for coffee & canolis . I can not say enough wonderful things about this tour!! Giulia said not to consider her a tour guide, but to think of her as a local friend showing us the island. And that is exactly how it felt! Thank you for a wonderful experience for me and my family!

Incredible tour guide who was extremely knowledgeable and personable. Excellent information about where the actual movie scenes were taken in the movie The Godfather, wonderful views and excellent food along the way. Highly recommend!

Really great tour! Luca was our guide and he was fantastic. Would absolutely recommend. Loved having free time in Taormina, and Savoca was an extremely cool stop.

This is an excellent tour. One of the best ones on our excursions. It was interesting to go back in time to see where part of the Godfather was filmed, and taormina was beautiful.

Lovely trip to Savoca and Taormina with lots of useful informations about Godfather and Sicily. Sicilian villages are so beautiful ! Our guide Katia was absolutely amazing, she is such a warm genuine person who is very passionate about Sicily and her enthusiasm is very infectious. Great day out, we definitely have to come back to see more of Sicily .
