Tulum Ruins and Playa del Carmen Sunset

I just got home from a week long vaca at this resort. My life is busy and so I so appreciated the relaxed fun vibe of this place. It’s small enough so that you can get to know some of the other vacationers. There are activities every day if you want to partake or just enjoy. I’ve got nothing but good things to say. The staff is so welcoming, helpful, efficient, and just so friendly too. The food they serve at the beachside cafe and the restaurant is freshly made and delicious. They have a great array of fruit vegas and fine cuisine which is different every day. I was surprised to find that even Italian might was good and I’m Italian. The little town of Play Del Carmen is within walking distance and we felt safe day or night. There’s also good access to tours through the resort as well and they will help you organize your transport to that, to town, and airport. Here’s a few pictures of the resort and staff.

The reason for a lower rating has nothing to do with our guides Max and Israel were great or the places we went. It's the amount of time we had in each spot. We didn't get to Tulum until about 3:45pm. After the guided tour which was awesome, my wife and I had to rush around to see everything and take pictures of what we wanted in order to make it back in time to leave for Playa del Carmen. In Playa, we only had a little over 2 hours of free time which just isn't enough time. I loved what we did, I just wish there was more time to enjoy everything and not feel rushed the entire time. Both sites are well worth seeing and I want to see them both again, just on my own time.
