It was definitely NOT worth it. The food was horrible. For what they consider a 5-star experience, the food was a -5 out of 10. The 2 excursions were very lame. The staff were extremely polite, but it didn't make up for the customers experience. The bay is full of garbage, it was literally pathetic. I'm assuming with all the tourism the problem is getting out of control. This may not be our tour companies problem, but I was told that they all throw their garbage in the water including the sewer. I personally would not swim in the water. If you want to experience Ha long bay, I would recommend getting a hotel room and taking a day trip!

Super friendly staff, the food was outstanding and Viet was a great host! Just a recommendation; Don’t charge for water with dinner when it’s already free in the room. Also, offer Tai Chi on the first day in the afternoon rather than the 2nd day at 6:15am!

Booked for a larger suite for my birthday and was arranged a junior suite on the boat. Viator has refused to give me my price difference for the room refund. Absolutely terrible service. Will be filing a complain and demanding for a refund once I return home
