When I figured out I had a little time on my own, I researched and the booked this tour. All I can say is that it was simply AWESOME. The history, the storytelling, the photos are incredible. Maeve, our outstanding tour guide, was knowledgeable with a great sense of humor. I can't wait to re-listen to the tracks and think of the way this recording studio, and the people who work here, helped bring this music to life! Make time to add this experience to your time in Dublin, you won't regret it!

We organised a guided tour of the studios when we were in Dublin with the clients of our motorbike trip to Ireland, coming from Belgium.
I highly recommend the experience! The team is as friendly as they are professional, and we learned a lot about music and the studios. We even had a private moment to organise a conference, and we were able to make contact with the ghost who haunts the building! :-) A must-do in Dublin!

An excellent tour from a very knowledgeable guide Méabh who brought us through the history, people and skill behind the recording studio. We even got an opportunity to try our hand at the mixing desk and signing the wall on the way out. The tour is a must for anyone interested in music

Fantastic and engaging tour. A great way to appreciate the rich musical history of Dublin and the global impact that this recording studio has had! Aiden gave us the tour and his insights, anecdotes and humor really made it special. My two children (ages 10 & 11) and husband and I really enjoyed this tour.

Very cool and unique experience. Not something you’d think of while touring Dublin but definitely a must stop for music lovers. A look behind the scenes of recording music and which artists recorded over the years.

This was one of the most amazing experiences I had in Dublin. You will learn so much about how music is made and appreciate the people behind the scenes. The tour guide Maeve was so welcoming and informative. I highly recommend this experience!

Booked this tour at the last minute and very glad we did. The studio is in a historical building - ex. power station for the trams and a Bovril factory, so some great history and stories before it became the studio. We started the tour with a short introduction, a quick demo of how tracks can be recorded and layered with effects (using Logic DAW), and then a look at one of the smaller studios (primarily used for mastering), a look at some of the artists (lots of pictures and discs on the wall - from U2 (of course) through to Bruce Springsteen, River Dance and lots of others) and then into the main room. Great explanations and interaction from our young guide (Maebh - please excuse the spelling!), a quick chat with one of the engineers setting the live room up for a session and then the visit was over. Well worth the visit!

We absolutely loved the Windmill Lane tour! We're huge U2 fans, but the studio tour was eye-opening as we learned about other great performers who have recorded there, including The Rolling Stones, Kate Bush, the Foo Fighters and so many more. Out tour guide was delightful and engaged on multiple levels, whether one was a knowledgeable fan or just a casual visitor. Explanations of the recording, mixing and mastering processes, including hands on opportunities, set this tour apart. And make sure to sign the walls -- just like Bruce Springsteen, The Edge and others have!
