‘Apsara’ Theatre, introducing the rich culture and heritage of Cambodia through traditional dancing. The Apsaras are legendary characters from the Khmer Ramayana.
Apsaras, half women half godesses, dancing and symbolizing their hovering between the cosmos and the earth; fisherman’s dance showing a mischievous boy courting a shy girl; Mekhala’s dance, a metaphor for the victory of good over evil; coconut dance, a village dance and finally an extract from the Ramayana, with Rama, Lakshmana, Sita, Ravana, Hanuman and others… were a celestial experience in a traditional ambience. It was a feast for the eyes and treat for the heart. ❤️❤️❤️

Beautiful performance and an excellent buffet dinner. No hesitation in recommending this event. The pickup and drop off arrangement was exceptional

The buffet was extensive, food was good, dance performance was fair-good, but not what I was expecting. Mostly easy to see despite the huge number of tables. Sometimes hard to see when people held their phone up or stood up to take pictures and videos

The performance was excellent. The variety of food offered at buffet was amazing. The tuk tuk that was arranged for us did not arrive on time. He found us at the restaurant and gave us a refund. Very inexpensive evening.

We were picked up at our hotel, by a super nice English speaking tuk tuk driver, Cheomreun Lon,who whisk us through the traffic with confidence to our destination. It was A+ front door service. We had seat close enough to see the performance without being too close. The abundance of the buffet was astonishing. Don't forget to go outside to the patio for even more food choices. Enjoyed the program that explained the dances in detail. My children loved pictures with the dancers afterward. At the end of the evening, our driver was straight away there to take us home. An enjoyable experience all around!
