Walking 3 hours between heaven and earth, from the Path of the Gods it is possible to admire one of the most breathtaking panoramas on Earth: a stunning view of the Amalfi coast which ranges from the archipelago of the Sirens at your left to the Island of Capri in front of you. We will walk in this spectacular scenery, there will be the occasion to meet local shepherds and farmers. Through old vineyards, terraces, farmhouses and monasteries, suspended at 650 meters above the sea level, you will have the feeling to walk in a painting with an ever-changing landscape.

Stunning. Exhausting but in a good way, Wear good hiking/tennis shoes. Not a time for fashion. Stunning views!!! Great guides. Was great to stop briefly along the way for a little history from guide and to take a break from hiking,

Great guides for the best views in all of the Mediterranean. The trail can be tough for newcomers. The guides got us all through safely while providing informative history of the area. My favorite your in all of Italy.

We were met in the heart of Sorrento by our tour guides and driven to the start of our hike of the Path of the Gods. Unfortunately the weather on the day we went did not want to cooperate and we were in clouds; however that did not stop the trek from being one of the highlights of our stay in Sorrento and Amalfi. Our guides were extremely knowledgeable with stops along the way explaining the vegetation, wild herbs and the mountains. We then reached the shepherds hut where we had a beautiful light lunch and explained how they moved the goats from the main house to another building so they could accommodate groups like ours. It was a truly magical meal. My husband and I along with another couple decided to break from the group and go down to Positano, it was trek. It was an amazing experience we will never forget! Highly recommend!!!

They made it soooooo easy. On your own this is complex logistics to do this hike from Sorrento. This tour made it easy, they picked us up in Sorrento, bused us to hike start ( nice bus), the tour guide were fun, informative and friendly. The hike was stunning, the lunch with the local farmer on the cliff was perfect. If you have non- hiking types in your gorup, this is the way to go and get them up on the trail. .

Exceptional experience hiking the Path of Gods. Our tour leaders were knowledgeable and ensured everyone remained on track and safe. There are some tricky places and one has to stay vigilant when maneuvering over rocks and all the ups and downs. We had a beautiful light lunch high on the mountain with fresh ingredients from a farm. We would recommend this excursion but expect to be out for 3+ hours with lots of ups and downs. So be prepared.

The previous review from Lynley B is not well explained, that person simply chose the wrong tour. There are different Path of the Gods tours, and routes. You can see what options there are, and they chose the wrong one so, do not leave a bad review of you chose the wrong tour.
In April 2024, my wife and I booked our tour from Bomerano and back again ( as we chose this specifically) it does a loop and was great fun.
We stopped at Antonio's house the shepperd hut. He gave us some cheese he made himself, honey he made himself, had red wine and bruschetta and it was lovely.
The views were stunning and the weather was clear thankfully.
We were given a walking pole from Fulvio, who was our guide/ He was fantastic.
My wife was a little concerned about how difficult it would be but we need not have worried.
We are 50 yrs old and the walk was quite manageable. Some parts had high rock steps, but we managed fine.
We stopped plenty of times where Fulvio would explain about local herbs and plants that grow on the hillside. He showed us a few and we smelled them, and all of them were amazing. Lemon Tyme being my favourite.
Fulvio was a superb guide, spoke very good english and had plenty of local knowledge. He stopped and took several photos of both of us along to way with my phone which he offered to.

Extremely disappointing. I expected this trip to go to Nocelle but it just did a loop and went back to where we started. Would not recommend if you want to do the full path

We loved this walk! Absolutely beautiful. Very glad we chose to do this hike with a guide, as we learned a lot about the vegetation and local area. Our guide kept a great pace to ensure we could hike as much as possible. We stopped at a little farm for a light snack and it was perfect! Definitely would recommend.

Awesome experience. Nino is an excellent guide, the scenery is breathtaking and the visit to the shepherd's house was a real highlight, This is one of the best hikes I have ever done. Did the Cinque Terre 2 days earlier and the Path of the Gods is even better (both were great).

This is a Must Do! No fear- Do It! We are avid hikers and this hike was very easy. Our guide Guiseppe “Pepe” was Fantastic! The lunch was delicious! Views and photographs were fabulous. Do not be afraid—just go and enjoy. And tip well—these hard working people deserve it! (NO children!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!)
