This tour was really great! Our tour guide, Lee, was extremely friendly and had lots of information about the area. Usually, the tour needs 4 people, but it was the low season so the tour was just for my friend and I. The bike ride went through a few villages and pretty scenery. The bikes are okay, and had no issues. Our boat driver was nice and the kayaking was smooth (if a little windy at the start). The floating market was closed, so we only saw the empty boats. The stops for food were nice and we definitely didn't go hungry!

Have to give this a 3 * at best although it could be a 1* or a 5*

The good?
Bao the guide gave a good commentary about Vietnam on the way there.
The group was a small group of 6
The lunch was a good traditional feed with good quantity
Water supplied and more than just one bottle
The bikes and kayaks were of excellent condition and quality.
The market was very interesting
The paddle was fun although a paddle down a river with just bushes along the banks prevented seeing much. The new river village was very interesting.
The photos sent on by Bao were a great record and we weren't scammed into paying for them.

The bad?
It was almost a race and we were not allowed take time out. If we stopped to take a photograph, we had Bao hurrying us along.
Our wish was to do a Meikong tour, not to do a fast paddle and fast cycle through a landscape with no time at all to observe anything. We could have been anywhere because no time to look and observe. The market was interesting but rushed through and we'd have liked up to 30 minutes.
The floating market is closed down and the website needs to say that. The land market was a good alternative but see comment above.

The very bad?
My wife got injured when Bao overtook her on the cycle and she lost her balance and crashed. Her leg is very bruised and sore.
When I stopped to take a photo I was dropped by the group and was lost. I had to stop at a junction as I did not know what direction to go and had to wait several minutes until Bao realised I was lost and came back.

In summary this could have been great but it's a tour of The Meikong and we wanted to see the Meikong not just race through with no time to observe, take photos etc.

We really enjoyed the “off the beaten” path tour. The fresh snacks on the boat to include fresh coconut were great touches. The lunch was delicious. I rate this a five star with the expectation that my group was familiar and comfortable with kayaking and biking in new/foreign places. If this is a first time to kayak and/or bike in a new place, this wouldn’t be the trip (there were a few single tracks while biking and need to be confident in biking on roads with several motor bikes/cars in certain areas). We did this in June. Apply and reapply sunblock especially on your feet as you will be bare foot in the kayak.

Phuc was a great tour guide!

Had a fantastic day out with Phuc as our guide. Totally lived up to its promise to stay off the tourist track.

Be aware that you both Kayak and cycle a long way - a smidgen too far for our ten year old in the humidity of July, but a great experience for the rest of us!

I would rate this as the highlight of our entire trip. Pick up was early, 7am and we were introduced to our guide, Foo. We were with one other couple who fortunately were great fun and similar age to us. We made one stop on way to the market for a coffee in a very small coffee shop not a normal tourist trap. We arrived at the market and we made our way though being shown various herbs, plants, Vegs, fruit and meats. We were a bit of an attraction in the market as the only westerners and was not hassled once. We were then met by the boat drive who was great and taken onto the river, the Kayking was brilliant fun with the added problems of the weeds. It was also the perfect length of time with a small stop for a beer. Back into the main boat and a good selection of fruits and some fire water!
Once dropped of we picked up the bikes, which were all in excellent condition. We rode through lanes and canals for about 7 miles till we stopped for lunch. Again not a main eating place but a little treat of a place. The food was good then onto the bikes for about another 6 miles. All the locals seemed delighted to us with many “Hellos” shouted out as we rode past.
Our guide was perfect. The company excellent and I cannot recommend this trip high enough. Loved every minute.

Kayaking the Mekong in a freak rainstorm was truly a magical experience, loved every second. A wonderful day out with Bao, who is clearly passionate about the outdoors and his homeland. Rice wine shots on the boat, getting to steer the boat along the Mekong, kayaking through small jungle canals... Does it get better? As for the bike ride - 20km sounds like a long distance, but you will barely feel it. You'll be too entranced by the surroundings. Be warned though - there is a short section of the track that is VERY narrow and rocky, with ditches on both sides. If you haven't ridden a mountain bike in a while, perhaps walk that section. I managed to come off my bike three times in ten minutes.

Outstanding one day trip biking, kayaking, boating ! Also visited real food market along the riverside and really got a great sense about how people live along the Mekong delta. This is an active adventure so If you are looking to join a boat with 30 other tourist this is not for you. However if you want to wander through small roads through farms and villages and experience Vietnam, urge you to sign up for this trip.

Really good tour I would recommend. We got picked up at 7.15 from our apartment. We drove a while then stopped for coffee which was so delicious! Then we went to a traditional market with no tourist in sight. It was so colourful and interesting. Off on a boat tour and then amazing kayaking for about 30 mins or so. I love kayaking! And the Mekong Delta was so calm.

Phuk then gave us delicious fruit on the boat. I had a rest on the hammock and then we went to pick up our bikes.

We cycled for about 13km according to my watch. Had delicious lunch at a local place - a beef pho which was really delicious. Another 12km of cycling and then back on the bus. We got back to our apartment about 5.30pm.

Everyone was lovely, we felt well looked after and had a brilliant day.
