We paid well over 100 euros for a tour that wasn’t even going reported to the gallery but nothing done please be careful we had another couple who had the same with caf tours

Gorgeous statue room. The museum was super easy access. The audio guide was informational and easy to use. Finding the Viator person was super easy and straight forward

Easy to pick up tickets and gain entrance. Thankfully my daughter remembered her ID so we could pick up the audio tour. My complaint is that it was so confusing using the audio guide (I’ve used plenty before with no problem) and so this is a museum problem. It’s not clear that the audio tour doesn’t start till u get upstairs and then just what room are u in! Not all rooms are covered by the audio guide. In the end I gave up and just wandered round. Then we had a faff getting back to where we started to hand in the audio guide, I can see why they hold onto your ID so u bring it back. Reflecting on the visit I think maybe I wouldn’t bother with this audio tour I would either just get the tickets or try for a guided one if possible

Seeing works of art I studied in university years ago was a dream come true. The audio guide was a trick to learn how to use. Staff weren’t very helpful in that they told us the wrong instructions but we figured it out.

We had a little trouble finding the ticket person. They were not exactly by door 1 and for some reason a "blue shirt" to us meant a light blue shirt, not navy blue. And the construction right outside door 1 did not help. But once they were located, we quickly received our passes and headed inside. Amazing is not adequate to describe all we saw. So much art work! Definitely worth skipping the line.

The Uffizi is a great experience for anybody into historical art, or (like me) with a desire to learn more about it.
I can recommend a visit, generally. Paying the extra to skip the line is also definitely worth it. But the extra added on to get the audio tour seemed a bit expensive - especially when any ticket holder can get it when they enter the building.
So, a great place to go, and I'd go again, but next time I'd just get 'skip the line' and buy the (very informative) audio guide when I get in.
