The bus ride there and back was very uncomfortable. The van we had was very outdated with the worst shocks because the entire ride was very bumpy. It was a yellow Mercedes sprinter but very outdated. We paid $200/p and were so uncomfortable. However, Our guide in Pompeii, Antonio, was great. He gave us a good overview and history of Pompeii.
Our guide, Alessandro, was also very nice and did his best to give us a good tour. My low ratings are only bc the ride back and forth was extremely uncomfortable and I would not book again because of this.

Mario was a great bus tour guide. Our Pompeii tour guide was also very knowledgeable and engaging. Pompeii was fascinating to explore. Mario recommended a restaurant in Sorrento overlooking the water for lunch -- delicious and beautiful view! My favorite day of the whole Europe trip!

Our family really enjoyed the tour led by Mario and the wonderful bus driver Jose. Mario was great at telling us informative nuggets on Rome, Cassino, and Sorrento. He managed the tour very well and was on time. Our guide Sasha at Pompeii was extremely knowledgeable. It was a wonderful experience and we highly recommend the tour.

Shearings Day tour to POMPEII - Pompeii on the first day was very good, despite being trapped in the coach for 3 hours out and in without a break. The guide, Francesca, was very knowledgeable and informative, took time for the group to gather and keep up and made the tour most interesting. I would advise you go and view the ruins if you can. The walking tour was not a problem at all, it was crowded but everyone was friendly and in good humour. It was fascinating to walk in the roads the Romans walked and learn about their way of life, and see the destruction the volcano caused, you could stop and rest and take photos.

This tour was worth it for us. We did ok with traffic and travel time. There is no way to fit everything in and it left you wanting more of both Pompeii and Sorrento. The guides Paula and Marco did their best to keep everyone on track and informed. You do have a different guide in the city of Pompeii. She was knowledge and at times we felt rushed but I do think that is the nature of this tour. You must stay on track with the long day and travel time. The lunch suggestion was perfect. Huge thank you to Gusieppe for safe travels!!!

What an outstanding day! Our driver Paolo was so attentive guiding us thru a long long day. Our guide was Sasha (sp). He was delightful, clearly an expert who shared history as well as interesting tidbits, left us wishing it had been longer.

Everything was absolutely wonderful. Our guide in Pompeii was great and full of information, I believe his name was Sacha or Sasha. Alessandro was our guide for Sorrento and he was super sweet and very friendly, I hope when I return I will be in on one of his tours again. Pompeii was so amazing and Sorrento was absolutely beautiful
