8. Piazza della Signoria
Many people refer to Piazza della Signoria as an outdoor art expedition. In this beautiful square, you’ll see the dozens of statues and captivating architecture. In front of Palazzo Vecchio, you will be able to spot another David statue. Don’t be fooled though, this one is just a copy of the original Statue of David that you saw at the Accademia.
9. Palazzo Vecchio
Piazza della Signoria is also home to Palazzo Vecchio. the beautiful palace was the former town hall of Florence for centuries, and residence of the powerful Medici family.
10. Gallerie Degli Uffizi
This extensive gallery features one of the most significant art collections in the world. Hence, its one of the most visited museums in Florence. Though we only visit the exterior, our guide is more than happy to advise on the best way to get inside.
11. Ponte Vecchio
Lastly, the tour heads to the Arno River and stops at Florence’s most famous bridge, the Ponte Vecchio, or “Old Bridge.”. This bridge has been a central selling place for vendors since as early as the 13th century and our guide will provide you with some fun facts and stories. Our guide is happy to recommend local restaurants although, it’s hard to go wrong in Florence.

Very solid tour and was nice to know we didn’t have to worry about waiting in long lines for tickets to see David, and our tour guide William was clearly very passionate about the history. I do think this tour could’ve benefited by being 2h instead of 3h.

Francesca was amazing, thoughtful & very informed! Loved it! She took us all over and waited as we took pictures as well as answered all our questions. It was a long walking tour 3 hrs but it didn't feel like it as we strolled and learned the history of Florence. She also pointed out many places of interest we could see more of later during our stay.

I liked the tour, but my girls, ages 14 and 11, were very bored. The guide does not try to engage the kids. I made the mistake of not finding a kid-friendly tour. If you have kids that are not particularly interested in art or history, don't book this and find something that is geared to hold the attention of kids.
