Sven Eric was funny and knowledgeable - very engaging. He told stories and spoke with each of us individually which kept us all excited. He clearly enjoys his work and his enthusiasm was contagious

Monica was so much fun and full of information! She was a trooper dealing with our group. She made sure we had a great view of the 1pm gun salute and offered us time to explore while she waited. When she heard it was a trip for my sister's wedding, she hurried to the shop while we were in the prison barracks and purchased a card for my sister and wrote a sweet little message in it. What a special sentiment!

This was such a stunning castle and we loved the tour from start to finish even with the rain our guide Alice really made us feel the best possible while we were seeing the grounds! I highly recommend tour but wear appropriate clothing

Despite the wind and the rain, we thoroughly enjoyed our tour of Edinburgh castle with Alice. She’s a masterful storyteller and was able to nimbly guide us through several hundred years of history and many King James’ with ease! Wound definitely recommend!

We had the most wonderful and informative tour with Monica. She was so cheery and knew so much about the history of the castle and the overall history of Scotland and England and even stumped my husband who has thoroughly studied the history of both. We wished we had her for other tours that we had done before this one.
