This tour will take you to the unique and wonderfully old-fashioned part of Jamaica to visit three of the south coast's most popular attractions in one day. Our tour starts with pickup from your hotel and a 1.5 hour drive to the Border of Saint Elizabeth where you can buy and eat escovitch fish prepared by the locals. Next, 30 min drive to take a cool dip in the clear waters of YS Falls, climb the falls and swing on the big ropes then relax at the pools. Final excursion, drive over to Floyd’s Pelican Bar for a swim and a drink. This is a unique, open-air bar located on a sandbar in the Caribbean Sea, off the coast of Jamaica. The bar is built on stilts and is only accessible by boat. Our tours are private, only you and your group will be in the vehicle. We specalize in offering the personalized touch.

Very interesting time with Das. Drove over the mountain to get to DYS falls, the entrance fee was 21 usd, which I thought was a bargain. Visitors can spend a whole day here, climbing the falls, going on numerous ziplines or lounging in the two leisure pools at the bottom.
The falls themselves were awesome.
Do make use of the free guys, who will tell you where to stand for the best photos opportunities. The swing towards the top of the waterfall was the highlight of my visit.
There were free parking, restriction and a gift shop.
Das, never hurried us, we could have stayed all day but we have a second venue to visit.

Second visit was to Floyd's Pelican Bar, which was situated about a mile and a quarter of the cost of Black River Town. To reach the bar, one has to hire a boat at slightly expensive cost of 23usd pp. Who will take you to the bar and pick you up mutually an agreeable time.
The bar itself has been created from drift wood and us a unique place to visit. We didn't eat there, but had 2 bottles of beer at 7usd each, it was a great place to sit in the sun and have a beer and, I imagine at sunset it would be awesome. It quite in ordered to swim in the sallow area around the bar. Whilst easy to get into the sea, it wasn't easy to climb back onto the bar.
I enjoyed time at the bar and if I could give future guests one bit of advice, it would be to empty your bladder and bowls before you go as you really don't want to use their facilities.

Thanks Das for making these trips in Jamaica complete.

We took our second trip with Daz, to YS falls and Floyd's Pelican bar. The former was awesome, I could have spent all day there, the falls are magnificent and its possible to climb up with and get some great photos with the help of the free guides on hand. They know all the best photo shots and will happily take photos of you as often as one like. At the falls there are several zip line options available at an extra charge, good quality toilets, a restaurant and gift shop. The entrance fee was $21 usd pp and well worth every penny.
We then drove on to see the pelican bar which isxditusted about a mile out to sea, to get there, visitors need to arrange a speed boat ride which is charged at $25 usd pp and the boat will return to pick you up again at an agreed time. The bar is set on a sandbank and created from driftwood. Drinks and food are available but due to spending too long at the falls we were tight gor time and just a red stripe beer each at $7usd each. A bit pricy but it is an unique setting. Guests can spend as long as they like at the bar, and can swim around the structure, although it must be said it's a lot easier getting off the bar than getting back into it, as there are no ladders available. It was delightful to sit in the sun drinking a beer and watching the pelicans on the sand bank. However my top tip for this visit, is to make sure you do not need to use the toilet on the bar, You have been warned.
